- Today we go over the expected release date of the last Hearthstone mini set of this standard year and what cards we could expect to see come with it including a possible Titan or Reno payoff card.

I definitely hope for another Titan or highlander support card. I wish they would just have a strictly highlander wild mode, I would play that all the time.
Plague dk would like a word
@@balintbognar8353 not worried about it, only a portion of people play that deck and if the plague DK has to be highlander too then they don’t have access to as many plague cards as well. And there are cards that counter/ erase plague cards anyway and there have been other highlander counter cards printed before. Highlander is just so fun and you get to see so many other cards that hardly get played because of the singleton requirement.
@@micahturner8297you’ve never played Highlander if you think it limits your options. Discover exists and should be banned from giving you duplicates.
I mean, there's still Azeroth that hasn't been used in TITANS so there's some chance of getting a Titan ^^
I'd love to see a highlander format WITHOUT the highlander cards, or at least without reno and zephrys because they'll all nearly be auto includes

I'd imagine we'd get a new Titan. Or rather something with the "Titan" keyword.
Since Showdown is set pre-League of Explorers, it'd make sense for something to happen like Brann finds something to do with Titans that gets him on the path to Ulduar or Rafaam finds a Titan-esk thing to kickstart his dreams of world domination and the formation of the League of E.V.I.L.
There probably will be the neutral this time as azerite has been in the excavation so it might be the neutral excavate reward for the ones who don’t have it.
Also history is skewed in hearthstone. It’s told by the average people of Azeroth so they don’t know everything. They’ve heard occasional stories but not the full truth. For example bolvar is shown just burnt which survivors of the wrathgate could say “imagine if he lived” and make that card.
Heartstone indeed has proven that not everything has to be canon to WoW.
Some characters are obviously clearly fictional (Plaguelords as example). Some stories of course did not happen in WoW, such as E.V.I.L kidnapping Dalaran. Sometimes, WoW does inspire future characters from HS, such as the explorers League. N'Zoth also was first seen in Heartstone directly, but his design later in WoW was a little changed, different colors and body. Y'Shaarj was only described in WoW but never seen directly, as WoW wise, he had been dead for many thousands of years, when a Titan ripped him out.
And because Heartstone doesn't have to listen to those rules and can turn Yogg'saron into a Titan, I could see them bring out a new Titan like Azeroth in the future!
Yogg might not be a titan in wow but dam was it great theming for the miniset.
I could see the same logic apply to Azeroth.

How about this? Everything gets reversed. So, the non excavate classes will get excavate cards and a payoff. The current excavate classes will get a Highlander card.

They'll do another neutral 'no duplicates' legendary, cos they love making neutrals far too strong lately, lol.
I would like to see the other classes without a current legendary excavate pay off also get one so all classes can compete at that level *sorry warrior* 😝

There’s only 4 legendaries per so even though they’re not collectible I doubt it. Maybe a neutral for them at best.

I would love to see more Highlander support, the big pay offs are mostly Reno so adding another one would be really cool
Brann, Veteran Archeologist: 7 Mana 6/8 Neutral Legendary TITAN.
After you use ability, double the keyword featured on it for the rest of the turn.
1. Discover two already Forged cards.
2. Discover two Quickdraw cards.
3. Discover two Excavate cards.
(Storm Giants are basically already forged twice if picked... for some random reason...)
Sir Finley, the Dealer: 2 Mana 1/3 Neutral Legendary Minion: If your deck has no duplicates, Summon "Fishy Deal" into the play.
"Fishy Deal" Location, 5 durability: Discover 1 Mana Murlock, shuffle it into your opponents deck.
(Basically it's meant to slowly dilute enemies deck, and possibly even shut down enemy Highlander decks if lucky with the "draw").
First! Zeddy you are a machine, Nova has to plug you in each night to recharge
I would love for an elemental shaman that's competitive as well. But they give all the best elemental cards to mage, which hardly sees play. Oh and give Slagmaw charge instead of rush, they should've done that instead of the dormant time decrease. That would make it a real menace. For priest the Elise card should be 7 mana. Warlock should get a sludge taunt, maybe something that can't attack but give you sludge for damage taken. But they should nerf the sludge back to 3 dmg for 2 mana then.

One card guess - new neutral silence card - probably mass silence as we are losing Smothering StarFish

I think that Blizzard would have some Reno support this mini-set as well as he was the star of the show ... down.
Not sure if would be powerfull or not, but a neutral card, epic or legendary with Battlecry: Select a Titan you own, re-cast a ability already used this game. Don't know where/if would see play but certanly would be interessting

There is no neutral excavate legendary.
Edit: and warrior excavate should be more around Elemental Beasts. It's interesting how you can play around tribes but stil feel missurable.
Maybe some reno support neutrals that aren't super powerful but nice to haves, like a 2 mana 2/3 if your deck has no duplicates draw a card.
Just give us something for early removal. Treant druid, aggro pally, aggro demon hunter. Let us punish them please blizzard!
I would like to see the monk class added to the game for the the next hero class same as death knight with the three rune system you have the brewmaster for taunt and board control or windwalker for massive aoe and face damage using weapons or minions that can utilize a stun mechanic to prevent your minions from sttacking for a turn or go for mistweaver for healing and control type element. Anyone else agree?

I don’t think the normal people on Azeroth know about the world soul so it can’t be in hearthstone. Old gods were legends like in pandaria so they were made cards.
Hope to get another Titan, my luck with Yogg is so bad. Hopefully the new titan has no random mechanic

Reached legend for the first time this month but it had to be with treant druid because everything else is too expensive :D

This video reminded me to ask... Why HS hasn't got rid of duplicates of normal and gold? at least for uncraftable cards. What I mean to say is why do I have to have a card of normal quality if I already have it in higher quality? for example, Zeddy has skarr in normal, gold, diamond and signature. Diamond and signature are different, yeah. But normal and gold are redundant.
Some people prefer playing without golden cards.
There was no Brann and Finley yet in this expansion. Maybe they are coming

Warlocks aren’t supposed to have a “reno” card, cause warlocks have an excavate mechanic
Fingers crossed for Highlander support and something to give mage an archetype other than Sif! She’s a cool payoff but getting stale that’s it’s the only thing the class can do.
There’s other things they do as of late, but I’m sure they still pack Siff in deck

I hope the DK hero border leak means we will get a Death Knight hero in the mini-set. Its the only class without any hero card without counting Reno.

Lets get more tendril support, especially in Priest where Pip can clone them. More of the Ogre Gang, and maybe more of the remixed and harmonic cards to go with the unused soloists. In summary, more fun stuff and fewer broken cards.
Imagine Azeroth as a Titan card, with a Quickdraw mechanic. That'd be interesting.

It would be interesting if Mage and Death Knight got Auras too since, if I remember correctly, they had them in WC3, which is partially what the Paladin ones are based on.

I think it would be cool to give Excavate payoff classes a card that has different effects depending on conditions. Like, if they’ve excavated four times do something vs if they have no duplicates do something else
Hoping for a new Reno style card or two. Honestly I think we have plenty of titans, and I hope they don’t spend too many resources augmenting things from festival of legends.

I don't see a lot of Reno style decks at my rank in ladder. When I do, they're not very diverse. More Reno would make some sense for a prediction.

N’Zoth’s appearance was revealed on Hearthstone before World of Warcraft. It would be cool if Hearthstone got the Azeroth reveal too.

there are exceptions such as mage, but mage is carried by sif, not by excavate

When will the miniset release?
I expect excavate cards for classes that had no excavate support, Reno cards for classes that didn't get Reno cards, a neutral titan.

you know I really liked the one night in Karazan Expansion. would love to see those old cards get some touch ups.
I absolutely wouldn’t mind them using past expansions for mini sets. I would love a mini set with a new Titan or a new Colossal.
They only do the past 3 in last of the year. For example colossal from sunken city on sindragosa in naxx. So there’ll be a titan but no colossal

This being the last miniset of the year I'd be surprised if we didn't get a titan.
