Top notch content as always. I get real hype everytime I get a notification that a videos dropped! Keep it up 🥊
George Forman said Coney hit him harder than any other boxer ever.
Stop with the fake photo shop thumbnails my guy, this channel is to good for that shit
Always love when boxing hypes people up using wrestling Jobber tactics and wonder why they get floored in the first few real fights they have 🤣🤣
I love how this narrator says Tshabalala retired with an underwhelming record of 26-4..
In the heavyweight division..
Thats an exceptional record.
Sure, if your look at just the number. Its all about who he fought. Nobody.
"on twitter all day and drink beer and eat burgers"
well shit bro. i feel attacked
Bute wasn't hype man, wtf? he was a world champ with tons of defenses. What exactly would a fighter have to do in your eyes to be more than hype, if being a longtime world champ with a good resume and plenty of defenses aren't enough? He just passed his prime like every other fighter does, he was 32 when he lost to Froch.
Man I cant think of a better video to put when the Fury beat the bricks off of the hype job that was Deontray.
Cooney was actually pretty good. The problem is that Larry Holmes is a legend!
Larry Holmes got Destroyed by Iron Mike!
@@shawnhill3482 Holmes was past his prime and 17 years older than Tyson when they fought.
I loose sound at 8:07 thru the rest of the video???? Wtf!!!!! How is nobody commenting on this???
I did too
Frotch was a solid fighter, that “Super 6” tournament was great!
Ohara Davies hit the canvas from a jab, don't think I've ever seen that before.
Jeison Rosario against Charlo
Kovalev v Yarde, Haye v Gergiaj, Joyce v Duboia
Great video as always, but Gerry Cooney was pretty far from being a hype job... the man annihilated Ken Norton, destroyed Ronnie Lyle, and definitely was no walk in the park for Larry Holmes. He would've killed Duane Bobick.
Seems like this guy is super woke and just looks to blast white guys Cooney was a legit top 10 HW at the time, maybe even top 5
@@ptccombatfitness6726 yup. I like the content but the racial angle is unnecessary and eye rolling woke.
not to mention George Foreman himself named Cooney as one of the hardest punchers he'd ever faced
@@brianred7146 I don't even know what the guy is talking about when he says "racial exclusivity was already a thing of the past" lol.
It's definitely true that white boxers get overhyped (see Tommy Morrison). But when the audience is mostly white and boxing is dominated by blacks, it's understandable.
Duane Bobick must still be having flashbacks to that fight. Norton was looking outright Kryptonian in there.
I missed my train to watch this
BLTV Extra you have no idea how much I love and appreciate your channel!
I forgot how bad Norton beat the ghost out of Bobick. It was like his left eye had no peripheral vision at all. Norton had him in a gen-jitsu.
@0.33 - can't believe you are throwing BJS under the bus like that. So cold. Guy was in the fight until, to be fair, he just got dusted with a great shot from Canelo. Not super out of his league like these other guys on this vid though. @bltv - still love your content. The best boxing channel on the World Wide Web. Cheers.

“Playful comments turned into harsh statements especially on Twitter”
Ngl a “harsh comment” on Twitter is prolly just saying the word anus.
Always appreciate the background music in these videos
I love this series BLTV, keep up the great content 👏
Those Ken Norton bombs in the last clips had me physically wincing and oohing. Bloody hell that man was a killer!
If you didn't notice, Ken Norton broke Ali's jaw. Even well known heavy punchers like Sonny Liston, Frazier, Foreman, and hell, even Ernie Shaver didn't manage to break it. Although come to think of it, theirs probably contributed to his Parkinson
@@MrWillypanda88 Foreman annihilated Norton though.
@BLTV you SHOULD make a video of failed mayweather shoulder roll knockoffs
That Donnie long interview though. Safe to say he highly underestimated his opponent. Tyson punched the fro out of style.
That was still pretty early into Tyson’s career. I don’t think everyone really knew just how good he was yet. Long was pretty much done at that point, too, wasn’t he?
@@smoothALOE ya thats true I mean people knew Tyson was a puncher but nobody had seen much past that yet. Like defense or his chin. The speed, power, and defense that made him such a fighting machine. A lot of the time punches can give but can't take a lot and Tyson was the full package that had yet to be seen. Punching him was probably equivalent to punching a bear.
@@smoothALOE No. They gave him a good chance to test Tyson as he just went the distance with James Broad and another fellow who's name I've forgotten lol
Edit: I had to look it up. John Tate. Also what they don't say is he was out of the ring 2 years and had 2 tune up fights against some has beens before fighting Tyson
@@chriswelcome8102 my question was about what Long did after the Tyson fight. He probably just had a few more fights that went unnoticed and then retired from boxing. That happens a lot, especially when you are beaten in the manner he was versus Tyson.
@@smoothALOE Oh my bad. Yes, he got beat up a dozen times and retired
No matter how many times I see it, Donny Long still cracks me up. Laughter only matched when I hear the HBO crew of yesterday ad-libbing about their hype-jobs. Still, I think Ken Norton gave Bobic brain damage in those 52 seconds.
Just to let you know your stuff is so good we'll done 👌
Best boxing channel on UA-cam bar none
Any day is made good when BLTV posts another high class bomb video! 🙌🏽
Hands down the best Boxing channel on UA-cam!
Gash by the hour yesss!!!
Such an old school British Jam 🎶
3:24 "I give up man" -> "Here 1 more" lol.
dude this is a JOKE ...how you included BUTE here ?? after lost with Froch he fight with Badou Jack , James DeGale and Pascal all fights verry close ....lol
Yeah, that's wrong! Bute was legit
Thank you for mentioning how Frazier was a top dog, some casuals don’t see that. I mean he’s the one to give Ali his first lost and the biggest rivalry in history.
Hm... i wouldn't really call Bute a hype job
Correct. That’s nonsense. He could hurt people
"with one notable absence"....the audio. Brilliant editing.
"Racial exclusivity heading in the right direction." WTF does that even mean?
That statement was ironically very racist haha!
He probably meant to use the word "inclusivity"
The idea of using the philly shell is to protect your face and sometimes fighters just think it's just about the angle of the shoulder but it's also about hip movement and the ability to pivot quickly and also pull back out of range....but apart from all that ohara was perfect ..lol
Lol named Courage but quits once he starts getting punched 😂
