I think her plan is to drive Homelander to do something that'll have people turning on Supes and Vought. So she starts pushing him to see himself as superior and humans as something he shouldn't care about killing.
That would feed into Homelanders need for love and approval, because hed only want it from people who are 'worthy'. That narrows his choices down to other Supes, who Sage is turning against him. Especially Ryan. Look what she did by insulting Ryans suit as not being 'unique', it hit Homie in the ego, which caused him to ruin Ryans first foray into Superheroing and turning him away from the only thing Homie has to bond with him, pushing him to Butcher. Which triggered Homelanders need for control while shes causing uncontrollable chaos in the world around him.
He'll snap, massacre some folks, and everyone will be terrified and vote for all that anti supe legislation, crippling Vought. Which I think is her goal, she _clearly_ doesn't enjoy her powers, and Vought is the reason she's got to _lobotomize_ herself just to relax. She's based on Lex Luthor, who's whole thing was _stopping_ Superman from taking over the world, and Ozymandias who was cool killing millions to save billions with an incredibly intricate plan involving working with, tricking, and ruining the reputation of his 'Superman' (Manhattans even referred to as 'the Superman' at one point)

I would say her comic book counterpart is Reed Richard's but only in the sense of her intelligence
To me personally, she's the Boys Version of Ozymandias from WATCHMEN.
She doesn't see herself as human tho. She sees herself as a being superior over humans and superhumans. So her plan may simply be chaos with no victors, besides her satisfaction.

My theory is that she wants to free Soldier Boy so he can erase the V from her body and she can become normal permanently.

I think she’s like Samuel L Jackson as Mr Glass. She’s already planned everything down from homelander’s arrival.
She must have some massive plan because she’s continuously misleading. When she tells homelander: “I’m hardly ever surprised”, I think that’s a lie. She’s already observed him enough to know his hair is being dyed more often and he’s going through a midlife crisis. She knew this moment would come and probably planned it like this a while back.
Also, when homelander says she can stay and smell of Taco Bell and loneliness or go with him, she gives a face like she doesn’t want to be lonely anymore. Even though in the next episodes we see her being repulsed by humans and superhumans and hates the lifestyle. I’m so excited to see what she does she’s my favourite atm!
Also, trying to think outside the box, she craves her own company so I think the ultimate goal will be to do with her controlling everyone to do what she wants them to do (I don’t know like build a Dyson sphere or something 😂 )

This just my personal theory but...I think everything was planned out already, I think someone( stan edger or another fugure lurking in the shadows) knew homelander was gonna seek out sista sage including sista sage herself and I think she's apart of a big plain to take down homelander and even the 7 included if necessary. she's the smartest person in the world...ain't no way in hell vought ain't keep tabs on her or haven't used her smarts for their benefits.

so the show wants to show her being intelligent so they show her home filled with books, yet no shelves and the books are probably not in any kind of order, also why would a smart person need books to begin with hasn`t she heard of the internet, full access to a whole digital libarary and more would be a better solution, also i thought her ability was her brain could heal itself fast, how does healing fast equal super intelligence, does she also have a photographic memory, the ability to forget information, and long term memory storage and memory management, and what is the limit to her intelligence.
You don't need shelves or order when you got photographic memory, also every smart person knows that physical is better than digital.
I love sister sage she is def one of my favorite characters.
But something to be wary of is while I agree that the message does come is giving a "work within the system" "pacifist" vibe, doesnt mean that works in real life. If it has, it wouldnt be so heavily depicted on television and movies to engrain that into our heads. Lets learn from real revolutionaries like the original black panthers from he 60's or MLK, who warned us about the yt liberal dedicated towards the chaotic peace of capitalism.

I really get the feeling that either 1-Neuman & Sage are secretly working together to get rid of Homelander, or 2- Sage is going to pivot from helping Homelander and will start working w/ Neuman against him.
They should put tech knight in her place from the beginning since their power are the same
I don't know about her plan(s) to destroy The Seven, but I do believe as the show progresses, we'll see her vulnerability, or at least more of it revealed. From my point of view, it is that she needs to lobotomize herself and it is possible to taint the tool used or at least disable her when she is most needed. Also, if Homelander needs her help, and she is temporarily incapacitated it may make him very upset with her to the point of wanting to do something that only he does. Plus, she doesn't have super strength and only her brain grows so feeding her too much information or overstimulating her may cause a mental breakdown for her. Just a couple of theories, I think we won't know until either the end of the season this year or the end of the series next year.

I think it depends on the interpretation of her intelligence. It could be that her high intelligence does not mean she can people perfectly and doesn't know about A-Train working with the boys. It does seem like you're correct she said people don't often surprise her and if MM is noticing, then she can too. If she does know you're correct, if not then she could just be sincerely on homelanders side. She could represent someone who doesn't believe in the Nazi stuff, but does believe in sup- supremacy. This would align her with homelander who also doesn't believe in the Nazi stuff as can be seen with his interactions with storm front. If both of them have an non racial belief in sup supremacy then she could genuinely be on his side.

A truly smart person would deduce that Homelander is in the wrong and would try to stop him.
On the other hand, I think she's bored and lonely. While she does see herself as superior intellectually to all of them, even nerds want someone to talk to. So I think she isn't going to betray Homelander, rather I think she's going to say something too honest one too many times and Homelander is going to kill her.

I think Homelander hitting ole girl with the laser eyes shows exactly how unpredictable he is and I don’t think she’s smart enough to understand it. Most geniuses overlook the most obvious signs because they’re thinking 3 steps ahead. When the truth is, someone like Homelander cannot be gauged. He’s far too much of a wildcard and sociopath to predict.
