I was thinking man whipping out a squad should probably be only worth 2 points. Good call on changing that scoring will give the insurgents a better chance.
Great game, lads, keep them coming! This is a scenario I'm going to try myself, but I'm going to give the militia sergeants, as one defender being able to force such an easy suppression check might be a bit OP. I also think the militia need some sort of OTA (probably 60mm mortars) on a slightly shorter timetable to the relief column to try and give a bit more urgency to the defenders.
Would also give the good guys something to shoot at besides the MG. Mortar OTA for the militia would be good. Make the Americans duck down inside the buildings at least for a turn. Give the militia some time to get close.

At the start of the mission I pictured the defenders calling OTA's practically on their own positions to stave off being overrun, but although they were often suppressed, and partially driven from the rooves, the enemy never made it close. Side note: I don't think Professionals and Elites can be Routed. With regards to targeting the MG's/RPG's etc.; I've been toying with a House Rule that a Squad Leader has to pass a CMD test (named: Direct Fire) in the CMD Phase, forcing a dilemma between Rallying or Directing Fire, but I have yet to play test it.

another awesome game never been much for modern warfare but certainly changed my mind man those insurgents got smashed i think the A10 should have possibly had a longer cannon blast length still cool tho

A lot are from Spectre. The US Army guys are fro Empress I believe.
