The Gospel, encompasses all that Jesus came to do - save, heal, deliver, redeem, atone, and reveal the Father. After Jesus there was still revelations because Paul had Jesus revealed to him not preached to him. God uses his people through diverse gifts of the Holy Spirit to reveal Christ as the same yesterday, today, and forever.
Read Acts 26 and 28 you will see Paul convincing people about Christ from the law of Moses and the prophets. He said I preach nothing but what the prophets said will come. All the revelations of Paul by the Spirit were from the scriptures. Any revelation we get today must be from the scriptures. As you read... Ephesians 3:3-5.
I disagree with the teachings. Christ didn't come to condemn the old testament. Any word of God you believe and you eat and also act on it from GENESIS To REVELATION will produce for you. Even the Theologians with all their researches and EXEGESIS end up believing the entire BIBLE.
