- In this video I show my new High Speed Gear Battle Belt in Multicam. This Battle Belt also has a 1.75" Riggers Belt and a Cobra Buckle to make the set complete. I plan to build out this belt with a G-Code Kydex Holster with the RTI attachment. I also plan to purchase the HSGI Taco Mag Holders and other gear to make this a Battle Belt complete.

Very strong set up. Nice choice. Double Taco LT is what you want for that AR/Pistol mag pouch combo. GTG!
+roadglide Thanks for watching and for the advice. Anthony.
Thanks for all the details and close up of the outer/inner belts. Too often the other belt reviews are with all the gear attached to the belt which you plan to add later.
Thanks for watching Doug. This HSGI is very well made.
By far the best Battle Belt I have tried
Thanks for your comments. I love it.
Hi Anthony I got to get that Battle Belt!! Thanks for sharing! Happy New Year.
Happy New Year Pastor! It is very well made and is a great option over a full tac vest for what I need it for. Home defense and at the range.
Looks great! Looking forward to watching it take shape!
It is very well constructed. I will keep you posted as I build it out. Happy New Year!
Trust that you and yours will have a Joyous and Blessed New Year as well Sir!
Thanks.
I love this belt. It was also a great way to get my wife interested in tac gear as well. She mucks out her horse stables in the wee hours of the morning, often by herself. This was an excellent solution to get her to carry her glock 19 as well as provided her a way to carry her barn tools. We call it her batman belt and it helps to keep me out of the dog house when I'm ordering gear.
It is very well made gear. How does your wife have it set up? Do you use any of the HSGI pouches?
biblesnbarbells My wife's has a G-code XST holster. She generally goes straight to work so she has to lock up her firearm. She can just pop the G-code right off and throw it in the safe in her car. She has a couple of taco pouches for pistol mags on the other side where she keeps a second magazine and a multitool. Behind those theres a Tac-tailor dump pouch that she uses often when we're doing repairs to the barn to keep random things like nails. Going on soon is a trama kit, probably o.s.o.e.'s tear away.
biblesnbarbells And just f.y.i. She can't be the only one with cool toys. I have one bedside for anything that goes bump in the night. Raven concealment holster is on the strong-hand side, allows a light on my pistol. Behind it is a trama kit. Left side, a tdi kabar knife on the actual belt, pistol mag, ar/pistol mag combo, and then a double ar mag combo, followed by the same dump pouch. I try to keep everything from about 5/8 o'clock forward in the event I have to sit down.
Thanks for all of this info. It sounds like you and your wife are very well equipped. I want to get a good dump pouch. I will check out Tac Tailor. A KABar will be a good addition. Do you have a video on this set up?
I've never attempted a video, maybe I'll give it a shot. The dump pouch is the tac tailor fight light pouch. It's probably the most used pouch on the whole set up.
Cobra buckles have actually existed for a long time now, its only recently that they have been adopted for "tactical" equipment use.
Thanks for watching and for the info. Take care.
Sure grip or slim grip?
Don't forget to mention that the inside of this "Belt" is a material called "Sure-Grip®" that keeps the belt in place. So you don't really need suspenders I guess.
I see you got the medium battle belt, what pant waist size are you.
Thanks for sharing. ..
hi there - how are your thoughts on using this belt as a customizable tool belt around the Garage and garden ? I am looking for something comfortable where i can put the bags where i want them. Would it be up to carrying the weight of a hammer or cordless drill ?
Another project for ya! Have fun.
Yes. Lol. I have been researching this one for a while. I think it will make a good set up.
Very nice! Is it safe to say that your waist is approx. 34-36 and how rigid is that usgi belt vs the 5.11 that you have in your shorts?
Yes, I am a 34 waist. This belt fits fantastic and the inner material really grips and stays in place. The riggers belt and the Cobra buckle is a much better belt than the 5.11.
I really like those belts, I've had the opportunity to wear a few diff styles, I've seen a few of the Molle packpack hipbelts modified slighty into a battle belt too but still enjoy my old Blackhawk padded belt. Look into the HSLD suspenders, to me it supports the load nicely.
The HSGI are very good quality and from what I saw hold up really well in the field. The suspenders will make a nice addition. My main reason for going to the battle belt is to have something loaded and ready at all times. What is the Blackhawk belt called?
it's just called the patrol belt/pad on their website. The HSGI are vastly better made/design compared to the Blackhawk belt
hallard069 Ok. Thanks.
Hi Anthony, have you ever trained with Tactical Firearms Academy? They are located in So.FL. Happy New Year !
I have not, but I will look them up and see what their schedule is like. One of my goals in 2014 is to train more with my gear. Thanks for the info. Have a Happy New Year.
Have you paired this with a chest harness from HSGI? Which do you recommend?
I have not picked up the chest harness yet. That is next on my list.
Very nice belt Anthony! I have been looking for a battle belt for a while. The Glock 17 should be a good gun for it. I am considering mine or the M&P 40. Glad it is working out for you thus far. I know you must be looking forward to outfitting the belt.
Thanks. HSGI makes some very high quality gear. I cannot wait to get the G-Code Holster and start building this out. The G-17 is my EDC, but I have heard very good things about the M&P 40. You cannot go wrong with that weapon and caliber. I will keep you posted on the Battle Belt set up. Have a Blessed New Years. Stay Ready. Anthony.
Does that battle belt come with the inner belt or was that extra money?
+matthew lapp It is extra. When you go on the site you build it yourself.
I'll give you my honest opinion. I have one of those as part of my duty gear in the Air Force. I'm not a huge fan. I've found that the padding tends to shift and roll a lot if you are in a vehicle for a long time and then you end up having to adjust your other gear around it again.
Thanks for the heads up and the info. I can picture that happening if you do a lot of driving with it on. I plan to keep mine for range use and for an option for home defense. Something I can put on and have everything I need already on board. Hopefully it will work for me. The plastic insert seems like it will keep it from rolling, but I guess it depends upon how much gear you carrying. Take care and have a Happy New Year.
Sorry Jim. Thank you for serving our Country. I am grateful. Anthony.
You got it BnB!
What size is your padded belt and what size is your riggor belt?
I will double check this and let you know.
Can you actually take the belt out of the webbing and use the belt it's self?
Yes.
can you put a blade-tech IDPA holster on that belt?
Yes. As long as it has Molle Straps to feed through the belt. You cannot put it on with the paddle attachment. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for the video! I have not seen a bad review yet for this belt. How is it holding up to date???
Thanks for watching. This belt is built very strong and although I do not use it as much as I should. It will last you a long time.
Nice Chuck Tylors
Thank you. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for the informative video. Sorry for mistyping Taylors.
Thanks.
Nice. I'm looking to get one soon. A bit expensive.
+delav83 It is worth it.
Awesome !
Thanks for watching my friend. Happy New Year!
would you recommend this for Law Enforcement?
***** Oh yes. It is top quality piece of gear. I am releasing another video on my belt this week. You can see it all set up. For law enforcement it would be great to have for an emergency, active shooter etc. You can still wear your body armor and access your gear on the belt. Let me know if you have any more questions. Anthony.
What about SOE?
I did not see a similar Battle Belt like the HSGI. Thanks for watching.
Can it fit a 10 year old
Yes. Thanks for watching.
'Looks comfy :) .
It is very comfortable and sturdy.
Ta mate
Thanks for watching!
almost got both belts lol
Nice.
