This was so cute, this was my first time seeing your videos but I would have thought you’d been making them for awhile

Vinaka! Fiji is a beautiful country. We can't wait to share more from our trip in Nadi!

Omg thank you guys! Finally images for, the hike. We are booking this resort and I’ve been dying to find videos or images of the hikes. I’m an outdoor runner and the resort space is too small for me, so I’m after those trails.

Can you guys please tell me more about the hikes - I realize it’s steep, but is it all steep or does it have flat parts? Is it runnable? Is it shaded most of the way? Any idea on the distance I can get if I criss cross the hikes routes for my run? I’m so grateful I found your channel and you are super cute! We are booking Bungalow 1 because we want to avoid sun. It’s the one that’s facing the other way

Yes of course! I checked my Fitbit for the week we were there and we averaged about 9 miles every day there with mostly walking and hiking. If I recall correctly, the main loop (Jona's Point) is about 2 miles or 3.2 kms. You can go off the main path like we did in this video to the Mangrove swamp & to the ocean overlook but they might be too steep to run. It may be runnable if you're a trail runner but that's not my expertise 😅to say. Jona's Point seems pretty casual because we came across a few groups that went together from the resort. We both are runners and would say you could get a solid two mile loop in but the hike will mostly be a gradual up or down. It does loop you through the resort which is the main flat part so you could easily repeat the loop if you're looking for a longer run to hit 4 miles, 6 miles, etc. That would be the easiest instead of criss crossing some of the hikes. Who knows, you might be more brave than us on those off trails! I believe it was about 75% shaded on Jona's Point loop because of the tall trees. The ocean overlook was NOT shaded at all lol! Also thank you for the compliment and sweet message 😊♥ we're so excited of you!! Hopefully my memory and estimate serves correct and happy running!

@@morristosee that’s super helpful! I took a screenshot to save in our travel documents. We went to Jade Mountain in St Lucia twice (videos on my page) and it was a similar set up where the resort had jungle trails. We found them and ran every day there! The 9 miles average is a huge relief. We almost discounted Fiji altogether due to concerns with whether we have enough space for running/walking! We only decided on Likuliku last night after so much hesitation. Sounds like we made a great choice! Thanks to you we aren’t stressing over it now

@@GizelleAnahi Hopefully my memory serves you correctly! How many nights are you going there for? The trails were pretty empty which was nice because most people stayed at the resort! We'd highly recommend a morning sunrise or sunset hike while you're there. We did that every night...seriously!

@@morristosee we do it every morning at sunrise. I run 5 miles every morning at sunrise at home - we live at the beach in Florida. On vacations I realize 5 miles is not often available (I hate running in circle) so I am ok with 3ish. We will be there 7 nights

@@GizelleAnahi Wow, that's awesome! That's exactly why we picked Likuliku, for having access to the hiking trails. That was a selling point for us because we love being able to stretch our legs anytime we can on a vacation! Outdoors is a lot more enjoyable than a treadmill 🏃🏼‍♀💨
