    My insurance company told me that we are paying for stolen cars, thefts, and weather damages from Florida so they can recoup their money. It’s not our fault. House insurance went up for the same reasons. Those companies lobby congressman to keep being regulated. It’s not right 😮

      Yeah I was told that too! My electric company danced around the fact that my rates went up 13 percent or so and I called to ask why and the best answer I got was “everyone’s bills are going up, you not alone” like that helps?

      During Cov. My daughters rent went up. When asked we got that answer - Joe blow is getting this price so we are raising ours. Idk how they all get away with it. If gas does it they call it gauging- why not for other businesses?

    I recently purchased a car because I was spending over $400 a month in Uber fees. I was so excited thinking I was going to be able to save money only to find out that insurance in Michigan is one of the worst! I can’t believe how much they charge me, it’s about what you were quoted and I looked everywhere. They finally said it’s because this is my first vehicle and that’s why it’s so high, this might be my last vehicle with the prices I’m paying. It’s maddening. I don’t have any expensive hobbies or anything, I’m just simply trying to live and I’m willing to work for it. It seems no amount of working is getting me where I need to be.

Then now we have a president who wants to drain us dry. I ended up getting a heloc loan. So now I been stressing for over the last couple years to earn any and all money I can get. I pick up cans like you. I'm definitely with you on anxiety . Everything is ridiculous priced. .

    Hello, I just have to make you and everyone aware about the Insurance industry. I have 14 yrs of insurance experience in the commercial sector, where I worked closely with all 50 State Insurance Commissioners, where they kept the Insurance Carriers in check with their rates. Today the Insurance Commissioner is useless. They do nothing to the Carrie's anymore. I live in the State of MD, am 60 yrs old, perfect driving record, no claims, and I own my house. I am currently paying $221.11, full coverage for both auto and home. This is greed and power play. People, please wake up, and see what our Government is doing to us, as a nation. They want power and control of us. That is what this is all about. By the way, thank you for this video, love your channel. Found you through the YT Hop. I hope you and everyone else will do their research, because this information also goes for the housing industry;i.e. apartments and rentals and the Energy market. It is a free for all. The Government wants you on helpless and on welfare, they want to control you.

    • @AmandasBudgets
      @AmandasBudgets  Місяць тому

      Unfortunately welfare and government assistance isn’t anything to live off of. I personally never qualified for cash for families when I was a single mom years ago but they offered me less then my rent amount if I was to qualify I laughed at the 415 dollar amount I was allowed to have for two kids back then, my apartment was 775! They told me “you can’t many ANY money if you want that 415 to go down” I about had a mental breakdown because I was like where do I get the rest??? Instead I worked two jobs for many years and drove cars the Flintstones wouldn’t drive. I’m getting my last EBT month this month and plan on stocking up my big freezer so I can stretch it out few months. Fingers crossed 🤞 people start to wake up in this country!

    With utility bills, the thing to keep track of are your usage amounts. Our utilities are good and each gives us usage data over the previous 12 months. The first key to keeping your bills down as to use as little as possible.
    Thicker, heavier, higher R value window coverings will keep your summer cooling and winter heating costs down. Those interior, wood shutters of the 1970's during the energy crisis were popular for more reasons than aesthetics. Do follow all those 1970's, 2008's, and more recent tips, hints, tricks, an how-to's for energy conservation so as to reduce your utility usage. BTW - The things done to keep houses warmer in the winter also happen to do similar for keeping houses cooler in the summer.

    Congrats on the job change. With the extra time, do consider seeking free CPR and 1st Aide classes in your area; getting signed up and certification earned. Free works best and these things help gain and retain jobs. Also check in with your local library to find out if they offer any free computer skills training; free certification tests are better yet if they are offered. Get what you can for free even if they are below your skill level. Check in with your local or area Community Colleges and Technical Colleges to find put what they offer for certification training courses of any type and what training funds they may have available.
    BTW - With those free morning hours, do look into before school childcare opportunities. All the more somif you can handle a kid(s) drop off between 4AM and 6AM, getting kids dressed for school, getting kids breakfast, maybe some dining room table space to finish up homework, and off to the bus.
