At first I didn't like the dramatic lyrics. Then I had a fiancé of 3 years that I lost due to choosing alcohol over her, the one. She was the one. I can't believe I let her get away (Not the song but the literal saying) was repeated in my head over and over and over until years later. So maybe it's not dramatic.
I completely understand this. My fiance of 2 years got into a car accident and died that night. Right before Christmas. We were definitely struggling with the alcohol. Now it's just me and our daughter. Shit cuts deep every Dam day
