if it was pre nerf, fu xuan would die in a single attack. The pre nerf version can decimate a gepard shield in a single attack and 1 shot almost any character.

Okay apart from his incredibly funny struggle to figure out the dice mechanics, I am really glad Kets gets the existentialist argument from Acheron's dialogue with Aventurine.
Acheron is the emanator of nihility because exactly like she said "it's everywhere, so it is meaningless." Meaning is born out of doing things and she is willing to indulge Aventurine exactly because he's at that point too where he needs that confirmation that everything he has done is not for vain.
That's also why it's been said many times that nihility should not have had an emanator to begin with. It's an incredibly smart play on the philosophy of existentialism to have the emanator of nihility essentially the most existential character of all.

I enjoy the dynamic between the Nihility (pessimistic nihilism), the Elation (anarchistic nihilism) and Acheron herself (optimistic nihilism). They're three different lenses through which to view the same objective reality. The Nihility believes nothing matters, so why bother doing anything; The Elation believes nothing matters, so it may as well do whatever will be the most entertaining in the moment regardless of consequence; Acheron believes that nothing matters, and that's okay. While all revolve around an unchangeable final destination, Acheron is the only one who sees value in choosing which road one takes to get there. Still have no idea how she became an emanator of Nihility though, cause her philosophy is fundamentally distinct from that of IX. Honestly she seems just as distinct from IX as Aha is, so if anything she actually should be on her way to becoming a third Aeon to round out the contrasting worldviews rather than a pathstrider of either of the existing ones.
if you read the lore of the relics with the red flower you can see why she become an emanator of a path that doesnt had one, and the sacrifice of a person important to her that save her

"Why is it always Fu?!", I have to tell you the truth, Destruction and Preservation characters have the highest base aggro values in this game. Meaning enemies will more likely attack characters of those Paths in gameplay, than other character Paths. Since Fu Xuan is a Preservation character, she has a higher chance to be attacked than any non-Preservation/Destruction characters

@@rossalbertdelacruz6751 The thing about Tingyun is that people usually have her on low max HP and usually she has the lowest in the team. And enemies tend to attack the low hp ones more than the ones with more hp.
I was so excited to see Kets' reaction to the ending that I forgot he was rolling up to Aventurine with level 50s. Now I see why the video is 44 minutes long. Still good job on winning underleveled.

Edit; This guy, on the other hand, was definitely getting his shit kicked cause he wasn't reading. Or really thinking about it much. Thinking a dice roll was just... choose the right die.
@nemasisdemarini8339 I played unnerfed, and while it was challenging, it wasn't impossible or unfair, u just played smart, brought characters that can hit multiple targets, AND ACTUALLY BUILT MY CHARACTERS WELL. Not once did my fu xuan get completely nuked by a single attack because I built her properly. You people are the reason the only challenging boss in hsr's story got nerfed

My personal theory is that he's the Watchmaker's 13th creation, or "child" as Gallagher said - no evidence for this really at all, just a gut feeling 😂

And yeah, the end of the 2.1 quest is madness as the pieces begin falling into place. Hyped for 2.2 and the 2.3 drip.
It is the most awkward level range isn't it. Like you just unlock lvl 80 so all the bosses get boosted to like if you were lvl 80 and had proper gear but you don't have either. I feel like they should have like tl60 and tl 65 be like 2 different difficulty spike for like story bosses.

One minor thing about aventurine boss fight that you missed since you keep music of for yourself is that in 2nd phase whenever he starts gambling music change for a bit and you can hear crowd clapping and cheering like it is some kinda of show is going on(which is bit weird because park itself is actually pretty empty)

Not sure if it is still an issue but for awhile there was a third party company issuing false copywrite claims on hoyomix music in other people's videos. YT's copywrite system is so broken that things like that happen fairly often.
He knows, he just turn them off for the video for the most part 😂 I still remember us reminding him ahead of time to listen to the music for certain parts/boss battles
it just easy for him to cut & edit the character voice without the background music, though. But I hope he can go back and edit the original back if he can because it is great

Congrats on 26k! Genuinely great content and well deserved! I definitely think that "Sam" is the combination of Mecha and Firefly which is why the other stelleron hunts call them as he/him as that's the voice they hear. All of the Stelleron Hunters have something they have lost or are looking to fix (Kafka's being that she cannot feel fear and wants to be able to and Blade wants to die) so Firefly's story about an incurable disease taking over her body fits in nicely with the others. Funny tho that based on voice lines she's probably the most ruthless + her telling Acheron she has never had nightmares about the people she's taken out... yikes. It's going to be fun to pull for them! Also, the Gallagher twist was killer so I'm excited to see where the coma plot goes.

The 2.1 story was definitely the best so far. I hope they focus on characters like they did with Aventurine again in the future! Also don't worry Sam isn't dropping in 2.2, we already had the drip marketing, it's Robin and Boothill.
You said we didn't see Firefly in the dreamscape area, which reminds me, we also didn't see Sampo there. But Sampo did go to Penacony. Man just appeared.

About your question at 12:50, Aventurine is one of the 10 Stonehearts - basically, they each have a stone that came from Diamond who is an Emanator of Preservation (like Acheron with Nihility). Aventurine boss is basically a very small fraction of Diamond's power, and he's even more weakened by the fact that he broke his stone to smuggle it inside Penacony

My favorite part of every boss fight is actually the Kets jam session. Have I heard the song myself? Of course. Grooving along with Kets makes it hit different though lmao. Anyway, I love Aventurine, but his boss fight was bad enough to make me consider skipping him... meanwhile all my friends beat it first or second try T^T He really likes pulling single target characters into the gamble too, to the point where I would just use Bailu to heal instead of playing his stupid game lmao. I'm just happy to not be the only one who struggled.
So many of the screenshots I took during this continuance came from Aventurine and Acheron's conversation, no joke. They outdid themselves there. ...Half of them came from Sunday and Gallagher though 'cause I was NOT expecting Sunday to be that short. And from Sam's convo with Acheron, I'm pretty sure Firefly was out of the suit because she was trying to connect with us in a more personable way, but realized that it was destiny for her to convince us to go after the Watchmaker's legacy through fighting/dying.

Agreed. I quickly picked up that I need to hit more than one die to roll when I played that battle, so it was painful to watch him strike one at a time. Also painful at one point to watch him not realize Energy for Ultimates, increases more with Skill usage than basic attacks. He could've avoided some trouble if he knew that

I mean, it's obvious that you will gamble with them, and not play some childish "pick the correct one". Especially with an opponent that themed around gambling.
If you asking why always Fu Xuan get targeted.... You see, there's agro in this game but in this case character with Destruction and Preservation path always on the target list.

I dont know how you missed that but since you asked where his power came from, its his cornerstone. As they also revealed In the Clock studios section he broke his cornerstone into pieces to sneak it into penacony making it barely even usable anymore so this is not even him at full power.
Nihility enjoyers were eating good this update. Tho it was not the aeon I expected they would pit against the harmony this time, it does make sense to some degree.

Really they kinda threw the awnser at our face with that and a few of the detaips surrounding the stellaron hunters. Awesome asf reveal though, cant wait to see what happenes next.
I would argue that being called "a tall male in silver armor" and being referred to as him by his fellow stellaron hunters is quite a bit of insight into Sam's identity but we'll just have to see how they can explain the twist next update.

Oh yeah there was a translation error within the Sunday-Gallagher scene which was added but not voiced. Sunday says "Am I wrong, Minion of the Enigmata" which is.... hm. Also that was the nerfed Aventurine fight lmao. It was originally too hard for players that he was nerfed.
The nerfed Aventurine fight might as well be the normal Aventurine fight given he’s 40 levels under lol. Still, I would’ve loved to watch him fight pre nerfed Aventurine. I’m sure Kets would’ve loved it, too.
