  • Intentional click bait title because we could. And it's punny
    Actual content much more mundane.

It's definitely...different. Seems to be dominating the Euro scene so there must be something to it.

Sorry, I want to ask a question because of your experience. I made a 5mm thick styrofoam plane and when I throw it with a tire, it flies a little and falls back without maneuvering. Where is the problem? How should the body, wings and dimensions be in order to fly properly? What material do you use for the body?

Interesting. This video is very helpful, because I have been seeing this technique more and more and been wondering for what types of gliders it can be done, and how to do it. Well now I know, I’ll be trying it out with my Cat’s Meow! (Which is almost done)!

Copterdude sounds great! We're working on the details of a more advanced version too. Biggest obstacle is getting good quality carbon fuselages, but there may be a solution on tap.

I have found that to be a problem as well. Even the lightest, thinnest carbon fiber tubes I have been able to find would still make a Fuselage around 1.2 grams for an aircraft the size of the protege, which is too heavy for my uses. Trying to find somewhere I can get some really thin carbon tubes.

Yes, i throw it like that, when there are high seelings, if you get good at throwing by the wing, you will be better than anyone who throws by the middle

The weird tip is that earplug on the nose. ;-) Nice gliders!

Here are plans for the Yashinskiy glider this one is based on, probably the most popular low ceiling glider in the world for adult contest flying: jhaerospace.com/build-review-of-the-mihkail-yashinskiy-f1n-with-plans/
