Having watched a lot of Bill's demo's, one of the things I most appreciate is that not only is he highly skilled, he clearly enjoys what he is doing.

Thanks for watching! Glassworking, particularly Venetian and Venetian-style, is one of Bill's greatest passions and he's always happy to share that with the world.

Absolutely incredible! It looks so effortless when Bill does this, but I can only imagine the experience and skill he has. Bill, you are an amazing artist and it is mesmerizing to watch you work

My word, that's incredible. Bill's work is just impeccable. Also, even without that trim, I'm sure his goblet would still have been thinner than anything I've ever made lol

I love it - at first it was a tiny amount of glass then it became even smaller as it was now a teeny bit of glass.

Without a garage this is how you have to make goblets

How do you hold a glass like this?

Hi Nicholas, here's the answer from Bill himself: "In fact, if done carefully, elaborate-stemmed goblets are comfortable and easy to hold and drink from even when full of (in my case) wine. If you wrap your fingers about the nearly-always present little discs (mereses) and spool-like constructions (avolios) at the base of the cup, your grip is well above the center of gravity; the complicated parts simply ‘hang’ below-no problem!" Thanks for watching!
