I do this all the time to build some skills and then move to a normal lot.
And use clubs to help in needa
Yesss! Don't live in a normal house, use tiny home. Do not randomize traits, choose the perfect traits only. And use the calendar (holidays), clubs, decorations (which influence moodlet), lot traits, use them all in your advantage.
Omg such good advice!! But it makes it hard to get nice angles for the video so sadly I'm not sure I can.
Love this style of Let’s Play more than I thought I would!! Also, Sally being broken was giving me flashbacks to that corrupted adult sim that acts like a baby in sims 2

For top notch toddler you may need to manually equip since it’s broken in a lot of games. Same with the movement milestones

Lol had the gassy infant bug happen to a SIM I rapid aged. It was super annoying as it would clear all his queued actions but was at the same time funny as he was supposed to be the cool party animal in the collage dorms but kept breaking to be a gassy infant. Thankfully this bug resolved when he aged up naturally to an adult.
I’ve also had this bug and it’s both super annoying and great for story telling - I’ve decided that my sim has some unknown food intolerances and are suffering the consequences 😂
my sims don’t glitch into the ground like that but they do fart just..all the time?? like it never queues up in their actions they just do it autonomously.. i have autonomy on full but they can’t wash the dishes themselves they have to fart all the time? so gross and takes me out every time 😭 a sim farted DURING THEIR WEDDING
@@kaylaabendroth1174 are they eating a lot of Franks and Beans? That meal can make sims rather gassy!
My sim "glitchy" was also glitching similarly to Sally. It Glitchys mom had Sulani Mana and had been turned into a werewolf by Greg. Dad (played parent) was just a plain Spellcaster. My glitchy Sim was one of a set of science baby twins. Both had SulaniMana and WeakBloodline (spellcaster), but glitchy was a werewolf and the twin a spellcaster. I plan to use glitchy as the mom for the next generation, so I aged the twins up to teens and will play them awhile. I have to prepare the next parent in the mean time. I will find a spellcaster to get bitten by Greg and then age glitchy to a young adult and then she can have kids. I am posting this to indicate maybe coding conflicts are causing it for sims with the 3 traits that are aged up skipping infancy??
I posted above and the spellcaster dad is now a great grandad. I am going slowly in getting my supersim. Anyhow, every single werewolf that skipped infancy, regardless of the trait glitches like Sally. I usually just age them up to children until the right one pops up. Glitching also happens as teens. Mom is an adult and her son a young adult, and unlike Sally, it hasn't stopped. So obviously age isn't a factor when you age them up. The mom I mentioned in a message above above, and her son. He has had several kids now, waiting for the Ancient (spellcaster) bloodline rather than strong, and his werewolf kids glitch too. So obviously, it has to with werewolf blood (Sally only had the dormant trait but was not a werewolf?) and skipping infancy.
The top notch toddler trait is bugged at the moment, even if you complete all the toddler skills, your sim toddler doesn't get it.

I know! I once tried playing the Henry Stickmin Collection in Sims 4. Ellie mastered all 5 skills but didn't get the trait. She also got an A in grade school and high school. She started off as a B in high school because of this. (I forced her to do this.)

Creating a super-sim was my favorite thing to do in the sims, but i never managed to create the actual complite supersim.
Also i had my super sim have children, but since i constantly aged her down with potions, she outlived all of her decendants for so many genorations to the point the game no longer recognize her as having a familial relationship to them and she could romance them, and thats how you get incest in the sims without mods...
but i also used her decendants with their freash, uncompleted aspiration, to get satisfaction points really easily so i could keep buying the age down potion for my supersim, so in my head i pretand that this household is some sort of a matriarchal cult that is dedicated to preserving the youth of its immortal leader.
This started out so innocent and really really escalated. Low key I am living for the chaos.
unfortunately incest is far too easy in the sims. had a save of sisters, they had kids (recognized eachother as cousins, no flirting) but second cousins are not a thing. i no longer have generational cousin households for this reason..
@@kaylaabendroth1174Your Sims can also have children with their ancestor family members. Those are the once considered parents of you'd Sim's great grand-parents: thus 4 generations down the line.
That incest thing is why when I finally get my supersim, I will do the romance aspirations immediately after aging to a young adult. I will also be careful about the number of kids they have, and take spouses out of my library and plant them. That way I will be 100% sure they are unrelated. I do alot of 100 baby challenges, and by the end she is related to nearly everyone in the world, and even half siblings marry because there is no one else. So I ignore townies etc and use only sims out of my library to get mom pregnant.
When I do 100 baby challenges I keep a spreadsheet of names. And each time she gives birth, I look at her tree to see if older kids have had children and record them too. That way I know who is related even if the game no longer recognizes them.

I like seeing the milestones because I never try for them. As soon as I see the "well cared for" moodlet, that's it, kiddo is a toddler. The head start to those skills isn't enough of an incentive for me.
😂 true especially for me who tried really hard to complete the milestones. i was devastated when I saw the milestones start only at 2. Like 'whaat only 2s for that hardwork?'

idk if it'll happen but the Top Notch Toddler trait has been bugged since around High School Years release where even with maxed skills it's not being given upon aging up

Keep in mind that there's still a bug in the game where the Top Notch Toddler trait doesn't show up until they're a teen or young adult sometimes. I started my Super Sim in a micro home in Sulani. I also put the lifespan on Long for teenhood because I wanted to do all the clubs and aspirations and it was just too much to do on a Normal lifespan without aging him back down.

Was the top-notch toddler bug fixed?
If not, then here's a bit of a warning:
The top-notch infant causes you to start a level higher in skills. BUT the top-notch toddler trait requires all five levels to be done normally. It doest count wheter you've reached level five. It counts how many levels you 'pass'. For example, starting at 2, would mean that it counts 3-4 levels and not 5; therefore, the top-notch toddler trait is not given.
If it has been fixed, then go right on! Just letting you know you MAY have to cheat the trait in because, last I checked, the sims team hadn't fixed that.
I think (and I may be wrong) that the top notch toddler trait is still awarded, but it doesn't show up in the Sims trait panel until they age up to a young adult. I think the child and teen sim still gets the benefits of the trait, even though the trait isn't shown in the panel, but I don't know that for sure (simply that my sims do seem to learn skills faster).

Oh, that's weird. I just thought it wasn't effective at all. I've always cheated it in so that it appears in the traits panel.
How do you still have vampire work in ur game ? Mine never do anything in my game they just visit 😭 I looked everywhere for a solution
They can't go out in the sun or they burn to death, of course they stay home during the day and prowl at night.

lots of people's last names are hyphenated and it's nice that the Sims supports that :)
No offense, but why this is remarkable? Are those types of last names rare in the US or typical to a certain minority? I never even came across the term 'hyphenated' and English is my second language so maybe I miss-interpreted what it mean
@@fruity4820they typically are just rare, most only keep one last name typically the fathers
My preferred name is hypenated hehe
Most often in the USA, families of Latin American heritage are the ones with hyphenated surnames. The rest usually only have thier dads surname. The exception are babies born out of wedlock. It is becoming more common for single moms to give thier kids thier own surname and not the fathers, if baby-daddy is out of the picture.
For my Super Sim challenge I played with aging off to make sure I completed everything with each life stage and then I'd age them up. Though I didn't finish, the next time I plan on doing this challenge I'm also going to keep separate saves for each life stage. So if something new comes out for Kids such as a new aspiration, I can then just continue from that save. Would suck to lose any progress but I'm adamant on them keeping SS status lol.
I don't know why, but Sally as an adult doing glitched toddler animations actually broke me. I literally almost died laughing thanks to that. 😂🤣😭
I think the top notch toddler trait is still bugged. I have to use cheats to give it to my sims even though they maxed out all toddler skills.
Omg that bug where the adults crumple into toddlers when u skip their age in cas still exists? I was so freaked out when that happened to my sim I never dared to age up in cas again, I just baked cakes and blew candles and crossed my fingers
I am making my own supersim and all 29 kids (so far 3 gens) have been doing it.. Frustrating.
I play on console and need to uograde the console. I might play for 10 minutes and the console kicks me out of Sums 4 all together. I consider myself lucky if I can play for a few hours. But that also includes reloading the Sims 3 to 4 times.
I would like to try the super sim challenge. For now I 'll watch your play through. 🙂
My issue has been that I can't not get Top-Knotch Infant. In my legacy challenge, I'm trying to achieve all secondary traits as well, including happy infant and unhappy infant . I've taken close care of an infant, aged one up right away, sent one away to live with their birth father, and completely neglected one (it broke my heart). In all cases they were top-knotch! What do I have to do to not get the trait, that's what I want to know.

Are you playing on normal life span? Just curious, as I'm thinking about trying this challenge myself, but thinking about turning aging off for the infant life stage, to try and get as many milestones as I can. It simply isn't possible to get all the infant milestones on normal life span.

It's not mentioned in the video but are you doing the parenthood character values as? You can start conflict resolution as early as a toddler by 'learn to say sorry'

My Supersim is the 101th generation in his family.
I've planned it like this because I wanted him and his family to have all the legacy achievements completed as well.
Infants are supposed to pass out when their energy meter is in the red for too long.

To summarize:
Father = Father Winter as a werewolf
Mother = a spell caster with Sulani Mana, Strong Bloodline, and Dormant Wolf traits.

i dunno how many people know this but you cna litrally jsut take the celebrity mat things on the gorund and sell them get a couple thousand simolians at least sometimes osme are that alone. One of my sims got rich fast of that.
My super sim had the same issue with being marked as "corrupted". It's fine. She's now a teenager and I've even saved her as a toddler, child and teen without being marked as "corrupted". I think it only happens to infants born as a werewolf.

This game is so BROKEN! 😂 When you hover over Tina’s age up box at 11:07 it says “Child Skill Level 2 achieved because Tina got to Level 3 in the corresponding Toddler Skill”. CHILD skill?! The game text doesn’t realise infants exist!
I have been inspired by your videos to try my hand on my own super sim. While you have explained every step very well in your videos (and thank you so much for that!), there are two things I was wondering: Is there a specific reason why you moved the parent + super infant into a new game? I had that bug happen when making my super sim too one of the fathers I had ended up with the stupid frequently hiccups and the pop up was happening every five minutes

Are the toddler bonus traits working again? Last I knew they didn't =(
Nope, you need to cheat to add them sadly. Apparently sometimes they can return randomly when your sim becomes an YA, but it's most useful when your sim is a kid/teen.

this is late but for anyone wanting to try without dealing with babies, i just recently got growing together and without it it’s very easy to get the trait, all you have to do is pay attention to them for a couple hours or so and then bake them a cake, id get the trait almost every time i did that
