Thanks for the video Tristin. It's great that you shared your misses because I've had a few shots and I missed the shot. So, I'm glad to see that a hunter that is way better that me sometimes misses too. Glad you got your deer in the end. 🙂
You should make yourself some pemmican before you go on your trips that's the native survival food so you can have a high fat food to keep you going until you can get some food hunting and fishing
500 spine arrows with feather fletching and 125 grain 2 blade broadheads work very well try them next time ..take it from a old man who has made many of those mistakes...lol great vidio 😊
Enjoying your channel! A few suggestions based on watching several videos: Once your animal is skinned and gutted, it is just meat and “should” be allowable on youtube. Show yourself eating your catch (really wanted to see you enjoying the blowgun pig) . Humans are very attuned to the facial expressions of others eating, it really adds to the video.
Tristen I’ve been going through some tough time recently and I want to say your videos just make me feel so much better while watching them and you are just such a amazing and talented person I want to support you and I want to buy one of the blow guns you made and i would love to buy one were can I get one ?😊❤❤❤❤❤ ❤❤
I like that you show hunting from the ground. I hunt in the Arizona chaparral, which looks almost exactly like where you hunt. There simply aren't any trees capable of doing a tree stand so I have to hunt on the ground too.
Nice video. Thanks for sharing the upload. We have lions where I’m at in Texas. Seen a few going to work and on my mother in laws property. When they are around you’ll know if you pay attention to the other wild life. Stay safe.
The reflection of your sunglasses may be like using a mirror to get the attention of a plane or helicopter. I don't think I would hunt with them on, but either way, Thanks for sharing your Awesome video. God Bless you!
I love quail! We used to quail gunt all the time when i was younger. But here in West TN it seems that our quail population is almost non-existent. In my area atleast
I have a question you didn’t have any issues not using feather arrows? I like that setup , which bow is that I’m literally looking on line for it lol I’m buying that lol….. love your videos buddy keep up the good work . Like your style .
@@tristinriddle101 that’s awesome I wondered , but your right that’s why I asked . I myself use Amazon bows I have to and now a 3rd on the way. I just love that setup you have, had to get it but I went with little more expensive arrows with feathers . Sad two weeks ago I paid more for 6 arrows at my local archery shop than I did for a bow and 12 arrows on Amazon but I like lots of good arrows as well .
I believe this experiment was seeing if cheap stuff on Amazon really work's,...as far as vanes on arrows~ their weather proof. As far as deer hunting with 30# nope no way 45# to 50#,... but small game good luck most prey move faster than the arrow,... if they see you they move before the arrow gets there,.... except rabbits,... they tend to sit tight. You want to shoot squirrels and ground hogs from behind.
Now what he said this 30# bow out shoots his 50# Bear Bow,...entirely possible I had a 40# Sierra bow that shot far better than a 45# Ben Pearson Spoiler,....some Bows are more efficient.

Those soft shell turtles are good eating man look it up 😁
Criminally underrated channel
Yeah seriously. This is exactly what I want to watch.
Really like your video. I've caught a variety of different catfish using a fly rod and flies. You can imitate pretty much everything they feed on.
You’ve earned my subscription today Tristan, thanks for the entertainment!
amazing video, thanks for taking us along
I could watch your videos all day man. You got a new sub. Keep up the great content.
By 37 minutes I was willing to watch for another hour until you got something. Loved it man glad you made it home safe.

So you have the jerky all you need is to get some beef tallow and a little salt mix it together and roll it into balls put them in a bag
Thanks Tristin your videos are great.
Do a collab with Tim Wells! I’d pay money to watch you and the Slockmaster put the smackdown on some critters.
Tim is the man
Love the content man, love the black hunter videos keep it up!! Would love to see more of you and that longbow
