I got a very similar stick but it cost me 35 euros. I was quite surprised with the amount of games it can run. It's also very customizable. You can add more games, change themes, bezels, etc. There are tutorials and SD images available for this GD10 stick. Of course it will be a hit and miss with the more demanding systems like PSP, N64 and Dreamcast/Naomi and Atomiswave. The problem with a lot of these Chinese devices is that the software is not properly configured/optimized. Like someone already mentioned in the comment section, you can unlock more options by pressing either BBBAB or AAABA in that section. If you also connect a small USB hub with a wifi dongle, for example, you will have even more options. If you remove the SD card it will boot into the Android system.
What about the joystick any input delay?
Please help us with this game. My husband does not know English and accidentally got into a place in the setup where he inadvertently changed the commands of the buttons on the remote control. For example, the "up" button goes down instead in the game program, etc. Is it possible to reset the game at all?

i got this and it's really bad: there is a big input delay in every emulator so you'll fail everytime you play an arcade game that requires fast reactions. Even basic games like super mario are unplayable because the character will jump half a second later when you press the button
Is your TV in game mode? Outside of game mode every modern TV has about 100ms of lag, even more.

It is really crazy how many of these Android sticks that companies in China turn into gaming sticks that come with PlayStation type of controller. You wonder how many China can keep pumping out to try to get people to buy.
You should backup any SD card as all, even good brands can get corrupt easily

If you can find the old Mupen64plus core and adjust the config files so that it works you can play many of the popular N64 titles. It is a lot of trouble.

The gd10 pro is a really good choice i got one
It s a compromise to use any sd cards are prone to corruption..maybe if you use more memory allocation when you format it would help. Or sometimes you can repair it on a pc. If you can scan and repair. I heard a flash drive is a bit better. I'm thinking in the future they would make them things better. Perhaps 20 years from now.
Be warned: I attempted to make a backup of the micro SD upon receiving this and my pc said that the card was corrupt. I took it out immediately and put it back into the console and plugged it in and now it refuses to load anything beyond the initial boot screen.
How was your experience with it? Just bougth one for fun dont expect it to be major change but hoping it brings some fun weekends

Good video that's what I'm talking about find the things that can handle the harder to handle systems. That's what I'm interested in .getting the best Bang for your money. I don't care if it's a hand held. I love hand helds . I always love when something can handle playstation 1 nintendo 64 game cube playstation 2 dream cast and even above if possible you need to tell them to step. Their game up and the emails with. Looks like you'll have to use a usb hub to add a keyboard in order to map the controls properly through Retroarch. It appears that the input config for the frontend is not the default input config for Retroarch.

I agree. I was surprised by the performance of the Powkiddy Y6 gamestick. Minimal performance stutters on Atomiswave, Naomi, DC, N64, and PSP. God of war PSP games have frameskipping but it is actually playable which I found astonishing.

It's great til you find out the r1 button is stuck on turbo no matter what controller you use or receiver. If that wasn't enough wait for the controller receiver to go out.

They use horrible sd cards... Grrr....
You should send seller message for a replacement sd.

@@3lrich you can customize your GD10 stick if you unlock it. Depending on the version you own one of those codes should unlock it. Then you can change the themes, delete games, add bezels ect.
@@LordCowboyCatIs it possible to revert back to original settings? I used the codes you provided to bring up the larger settings menu, but now there is no option to shutdown the stick. I have to now switch it off at the wall plug.

Got this sh*t too, all was in Chinese letters, you cannot swap language, I find nothing. So the search wont find anything. Playing was also not as nice with these PS Controllers, most not all functions that a game needed were available. - I better buy a USB Sega 6-Button Controller (I better like this than SNS Controller) and use emulators.

If I pay under $50 or maybe even $100 I don’t expect everything to be perfect but I play sports games nfl blitz and things they never work on any retro stick or box also neither does killer instinct arcade version greet fighter ex or anything like that

How gd10 x2 can be flashed? the sd card was corrupted on first use. AliExpress says half refund as device is worth. But it's not loading emuelec 4.3 or 4.6 . What's the button combination for loading new image.

3) What if a game has 2 disc. theyr are playable?
4) what if a game is composed of multiple bin file and a cue file? (like sega saturn game)

I would assume so as you can pull the SD out and delete or add games. Always make a backup. Also, multi-cd games are playable, at 5:23 you can see "Disc Control" option. lastly, these consoles can read bin/cue.
Built an arcade with Retropie on an Rpi4
Just a week ago upgraded everything with a cheap minipc, Windows and Launchbox
Able to run everything (!) even mame 255 roms flawlessly (even Namco10 Systems which are PSX based and just got added to MAME) and Technoparrot Roms like Time Crisis 5
Sure when you dont have the 3 to 400 Bucks - buy a Raspberry Pi, otherwise go for an AMD based solution, i can even run Technoparrot
And forget theese chinesium Stations they arent worth the money, what the Roms belong you can google that.
Also the "ONLY" excuse for you to buy an Pandorasbox is if you have an JAMMA Arcade - Pandoras Boxes suck and its not so easy to get JAMMA working on a PC, i get that
I find it even offensive - because when you calculate the costs of this systems they are "basically" selling the roms

I can't really get into the backend to find it.
In general these sticks always get hot some less then other depending of the chip and methode of cooling.
