Hey! We got a little busy with the holidays but we will have a new drop on Friday that you have been waiting for. How are you doing? How is the 350!?

@@motorbros First, glad to hear more vids are coming! Second, "how is the 350?" you ask.......well.....I received my 350 the 2nd week in November and it has a whopping .4hrs on it! (as you stated, holidays and all) And....because I'm 5'7" with a 28" inseam (bike is 38" tall, don't need to do much math to figure out that's not good...LOL) I've already dropped the bike TWICE in my garage and snapped a lever. Nobody makes a low seat for the 2023 models (seat concepts said they will have one in Feb.) So, I'm shaving my seat for starters and ordered a Guts cover. I believe you said Mike is like 5'5"? He must have long legs because I bought those starter blocks and I really need 2.5" just to put ONE foot solid on the ground and slide my butt to the side. I can lower the rear shock -30mm with a Zeta kit from Slavens Racing which doesn't affect the bike's suspension (nobody recommends the lowering link due to the change in geometry). The issue is the front. I already spoke with Jeff at Slavens Racing and Morgan at Highland Cycles and neither has a solution for the front. Both told me to contact other suspension shops. I'd prefer NOT to drop another $1K if I don't have to. They also are NOT in favor of simply raising the forks in the clamps. You all have any ideas how to internally lower the AER forks? Thanks!

The good thing is, once you get the bike rolling, the height doesn’t matter much. Maybe we should do a vid for short dudes with some helpful tips.

@@motorbros Yes, you are 100% correct regarding height doesn't matter when moving...BUT, I've had a motorcycle my entire life (since age 6 ...I'm now 50 ). Been off dirt bikes for 20+years. I guess it's a combination of the fact that I shrunk a touch (again, I'm 5'7' 28" inseam) and the bikes are as tall as ever. I can tell you that although the height doesn't matter when moving, I IMMEDIATELY noticed the lack of confidence and "fear" of having to stop knowing I could go over (especially when riding slow as I was practicing balance drills and figure 8's in my yard). Even when completely sliding my butt over to one side and just putting one foot down hurts. My Harley Heritage Softail is nearly 900lbs and I feel COMPLETELY confident on it. Even in trails, there's times when you NEED footing to go over rocks and such. Well.....this is the long winded way to say YES..... a video showing how Mike deals with it would be awesome, (especially getting on and off). There really aren't many vids to help. Some woman "Megs Braap" has a channel and addresses it as she's an incredible rider yet 5'4"! I watched a ride she did on Highland Cycles channel and she was having a real tough time going over rocks and tough terrain. (and I get that motocross and riding somewhat tough terrain is completely different). I'm told Zeta has a spacer through Slavens Racing that internally lowers the rear shock -30mm and then I'd have to have the forks sent out to a suspension shop to equal that as there is no kit for the AER forks. Everyone says stay away from 2 things.... lowering links and raising the forks in the clamps as both will affect handling and the geometry of the bike. THANKS!

@@motorbros There's a pic of Ricky Carmichaels #4 Suzuki and it literally almost has no seat. Plus I found out they actually would cut his subframe down as I always wondered why he can stop and has no issues with footing and he's 5'6". McGrath I believe is 5'8" and Stewart is 5'7". All these guys either have long legs for their height (LOL) or have modified bikes. That's why I ordered a -20mm low foam and new cover from Guts Racing. Just waiting for it to arrive and I'm praying that the 3/4" makes a difference. Many say just a small change in seat height makes a big difference in feel. My apologies for the dissertations! LMAO
