The pandemic of songs being less than 3 or even 2 minutes NEEDS to stop. That's a teaser NOT a song. I'm praying for a Korean full album from aespa they've been teasing it for 2 years now 🙏🏾 😭
I just think it's funny how YG thinks the same strategy they use for Blackpink will also work for Babymonster. Starving their fans so anything they release people will eat up. But the thing is back in the day a Big3 group debuting was something special. Nowadays it's not cause everyone is saturated with a new group debuting like every two days. Babymonster didn't feel like anything new or fresh and that's what is important today. Making a strong first impression and standing out of thousands of groups trying to become famous. I feel like YGs narrow minded views they have since 1950 actually hold them down for adapting to Kpop nowadays which results in holding back so much potential for their groups. Sorry for ranting y'all but I felt the need to say my opinion

-mnet produce101 but international edition (kinda like dream academy)
One of the uni ticket drop out will be actually crazy, the curse of new survival shows is real!
i have bad feeling abt iland-2 too, i think it's the fact that they gonna be a permanent group under W1
Technically Universe Ticket was "international" and since they have 2/3 Filipino members I'll let it slide but we still have a looooong way to go. Also how would you even do that? This kind of survival show wouldn't really work and you'd have to do it like A2K or Dream Academy over social media bc I don't think anyone in the US in the demographics for such a group watches TV anymore. Also the groups are normally bigger bc of the many contestants but in the west only small works. So the DA A2K approach is better here too. Also in a real show they'd have to cast a few more members that aren't just fair skinned and idk if the companies want that. Also needless to say an American style show wouldn't work on SK TV at all too.

i agree with the itzy one. i love them with everything in me, but they seriously have no musical direction. their management is trying to please everyone, but the korean side of their fanbase want something completely different than their international one. they need to pick which side they want to focus one, because all this jumping around music-wise is doing more harm than good.

The important thing is that you like it, because the music is subjective or tastes are the colors, what you think is great others will label as trash or simply hate anything that they bring in certain idols and will always find a but it doesn't matter if it turns out to be a very good album or almost "art"

My favorite Kpop groups were CLC, Elris and Lovelyz. I listened to their albums the most. Kpop disappointed me so much because my favorite groups keep failing and they deserved better.
