Seems to take a while so I will reply here later with my results.
When F series came, they told that it is better because don't have separate swing pump as previous B,C,D models. And now we have a separate swing pump again.... So it was not better, but only cheaper. But users didn't like that. Engine with pumps reversed, turbocharger behind on counterweight side- yeah, easier to replace (i've changed turbo in 374,385,390 a few times, it weights about 60 kg so i know what i'm talking about, it's quite a job when you have direct access to it.) i'm curios how operators will like reverse design with coolers on the right side and pumps on the left cab side - about noise, and heat wave from colers going to the cab. in C,D series air entered coolers on the left and was thrown away to the right far from cab. Now it is opposite- and i know that Komatsu and Liebherr users complained about it - when it's hot A/C just can't maintain convenient temperature in the cab. Will see..

I'm actually doing repairs on the hydraulic lines on this same excavator, I don't know much about it but this gave me a better understanding of when I'm going to be looking at after my lunch break!

It will be great if time could be incorporated on the screen specifically measuring the loading cycle time . It will be helpful in measuring measuring the operator efficiency. And it should be logged in PSR . To evaluate it later .

How much does the 395 bucket load
All I can say is after 37 years working on Caterpillar equipment as a mechanic I'm glad I'm getting ready to retire! 245 excavator virus this enormously expensive technical monster with the sole purpose of moving dirt! Have we really progressed!? Can't imagine the cost on repairs related to regen system! Again, just moving dirt! Give me steering clutches/brake bands any day!
You must miss the pony engines as well, such a bummer those no longer generate billable work.

@@2xKTfc I run and work on equipment every day and Jason is spot on . The older equipment where work horses that never quit. The new ones are service night mares you better have two that way you can always have one being worked on😂😂

doubt it can travel in one piece probably need multiple tucks to float it
Normally disassembled due to weight restrictions. Counterweight, bucket and stick are usually removed for transport.
