Great video! I too bought a B&M washy and I'm down to 2 very sad looking yellow fronds. Mine is planted in the ground, in a gravelly mix of an arid bed. Will have to investigate further.
A couple of weeks on and I’m convinced its lack of water. Mine are recovering overall now but I’ve has to cut off the yellow leaves as they are completely dead. I’m wondering if its because the leaves are forced and the root system isn’t big enough to find water unless they’re drenched. Just a thought
How is it now ?...my 3 stem washy has been under cover over winter .Theirs no spear pull but all leaves are dried up and brown (apart from 1 of them)...gave it a very good tug and it's solid so hopefully it hasn't died..it's now outside
@@aroid_uk died 😥...it was strange because I kept getting new leaves growing but they came out weak and very soft,( floppy) then would dry up and die...I'm thinking it was something to do with the compost it was in as I have another washy in normal top soil and that's doing good... just see what happens this winter 🙄
Hi, yes those are Portwest bib and brace workwear overalls. They are £24 on ebay. They're very comfy with lots of pockets. I love them. My wife doesn't!
Дякую за видос..

@@thelocalgardener will try increasing the watering schedule. Mine was very rootbound.
Try some palm focus two or three times a week, it fixed a couple of my Trachycarpus palms over a few months
What will your do in winter? Bring indoors?
Yes, I'm going to put them in a greenhouse at about 5 to 10C. Not yet though as it's going to be mild here until near the end of October.
@@thelocalgardener thank u

Beautiful! If I may ask, where did you get that brown pull-over pant thing you are wearing. Looks comfortable and ideal for outdoor activisties.
