Churro is definitely a stubby chonk chonk chonk boi and is so cute! I love the little details and the dots remind me of how reptiles and amphibians have translucent skin with dots all over. That clay gradient makes my heart sing and love that tail shape!
He looks like the kind of pet that would be getting in to trouble XD Like maybe he would go chasing frogs or come home covered in mud leaving cute little muddy foot prints everywhere.
He turned out so cute! Now this is what I call a great ajolote rendition 💙 love the color pallet, those turquoise and yellow accents contrasts beautifully with the pink. All those colors along with the little dots are very alebrije looking, also! The name fits him great and I’m so happy to watch projects inspired by our Mexican fauna 🥰
Churro is so cute! Maybe because the theme of churro is water you could make the other dragon based off of a basilisk lizard (not the fantasy creature). I know whatever you do though it will be awesome!
Ooohh hes absolutely adorable!! Fun fact: we have genetically modified some axolotls to glow in the dark! And some super rare genetic color morphs make axolotls look blue or purple! And for salvador, the long limbs paired with a potential water theme... my brain goes right to bigfin squid! Theyre pretty spooky and we know very little about them, with only a few mature adults ever being recorded!! Or maybe a blanket octopus since they have big beautiful "wings" !
If Churro was a dachshund / axolotl inspired custom, the other one definitely has to be a greyhound / giraffe inspired custom! Something along those lines!
I'm going to cry!!! This lil baby is so cute! Churro laying in the dolls lap?! My heart! Please, please make the tall dragon a tall dog so Churro can have a playmate. Like, a great Dane and a giraffe cause of such long legs and neck
Beautiful work as always! I love the colours and little details on his head. Maybe his big brother could be more ice themed since the long legs remind me of icicles and it´s still water like Churro...😊
Churro is adorable! I think an adorable companion for him would be a Gila Monster for a land/fire theme since the color palettes would be almost an inverse of each other and it would continue the Mexican theme.
He’s absolutely adorable and I’m in love! Just an fyi. UV resin and nail polish are just as toxic as regular resin and should be protected against with ppe until it’s fully cured. They get overlooked a lot in the safety areas because there’s a lot of false information out there that says they aren’t as toxic as they are. Please wear gloves and some sort of protective mask to protect yourselves! But anyways, he came out perfectly! Can’t wait to see what you make next!
He's so CUTE!!!! 14:48 Maybe you can save that piece for the other Dragon BJD, I can't wait to see our Lady Dragoness. Maybe the older sibling can be either Fairy dragon or maybe a water dragon, who knows. See you girls next time. :D
UV resin answers! The reason why it's still sticky is because it cures so quickly it doesn't actually cure all the way. So to get rid of the stickiness you're supposed to cure it for another 10-15 minutes depending on how big the project is. That sometimes includes both sides... ALSO to get rid of fingerprints on the cured resin acetone is gonna be your best friend..
first of all: CHURRO IS A CUTIEEE second: salvadore always reminds me of a very elegant, elusive deer creature? so maybe sth in that direction? a forest spirit dragon ..maybe even tree like with carvings and such?
This is so adorable!! And Churro is such a cute name 😭😭 I love the inspiration as well, if Churro is a sausage dog then the other dragon is like a greyhound, so maybe it could be inspired by a squid?? Or a swordfish? The idea of the dragon having a pointy swordfish snout is super cute to me haha
*SCREAMING* he's adorable I love the gil fans. I can't wait to see what the other dragon will be. The only thing I can think of is it can be like a moth dragon with a fluffy mane or a deer dragon. Whatever it's going to be it will just as beautiful and cute.
Make the big one an an endargered Tuatara, to raise awareness. Also because they are insanely fascinating! "Tuatara are endemic to New Zealand. They grow very slowly, live to over 100 years old and are the only survivors of an ancient group of reptiles which roamed the earth, along with the dinosaurs, over 200 million years ago"
His chunky little hands! I’m dying of cuteness! I can’t wait to see what you do with Salvador! Perhaps because Churro is a water dragon you could lean into a traditional fire theme for the next one!
what about a maned wolf as an inspiration for the long dragon?? I love the colours they have and they're known for being leggy!! it'd also open up opportunities to give the dragon floof!
This is adorable and I want to make one of my own now! For Salvador, maybe you could do an insect theme. Air or earth, with a praying mantis, stick insect, or harlequin beetle perhaps?
He’s soo cute. You are wonderfully talented. Would you consider doing a fantasy creature based on a spider? I’d love to see a soft and delicate design for our 8 legged friend. Something sympathetic and sweet. Spiders are helpful and I’m tired of them getting a bad reputation.
I think a water nymph inspiration for the dragoness would be amazing, since nymphs tend to be pond/lake-oriented. Obviously still a dragon, aside! But just something to think about :)
Oh my god Churro is so freaking adorable! I can't belive with how much you two despiste using clay it ended being the main product to this awesome transformation 💜
Man this concept (axolotl dragons) reminds me of when I was younger and I first learned of the axolotls existence and my small 7 year old self decided she wanted to make it a dragon I really want to remake my old dragon species now
such a cute custom !! just a note though, axolotl is actually pronounced as "ah-SHO-lot-le" with a soft X sound. not many people know this so no worries, just thought you'd want to know :)
I love Churro. Very cute. Maybe some kind of swan themed dragon for the other doll? The long long neck and how graceful and sleek it looks kind of reminds me of a swan
He is very cute, but I kind of wish you'd done polymer clay for the wing flaps too, and the eyes seem dull. Perhaps some varnish? The sculpting and paint are excellent overall and I think you accomplished your goals in making this doll!
Churro is so cute and I can't wait to see his owner! I love a turquoise dragoness queen. Everytime I see Salvador he reminds me of the Loch Ness Monster, if Nessie could fly that is! Or other long necked brachiosaurus like the Big Foots from the Land before Time.
so cute and tiny. my very first thought for the larger dragon was spider-esque because of the long legs, or a praying mantis type, but i don't think either one would really work lol. maybe something tree like because of the long legs, something like the legs being tree like that way when it stands still, it's invisible to a human's gaze.
The only ideas I can think of for Salvador would be having him themed as a faerie dragon or if you planned for him to also be a pet for your dragoness doll. Maybe having him be either themed as fire or air dragon. Oh, or he can be a moon dragon!
...I wonder it Tuuletar has Finnish roots... Because... Tuuli = Wind, Tuulee = It's windy. -tar/-tär = feminine ending to some positions and occupations: kuningatar = queen, tarjoilijatar = waitress, näyttelijätär = actress EDIT: I went to see Dragetarr website and apparently they are a Finnish company. Go me.
Cooking with Barb, first rule is make sure the chewy bit is actually food and not some form of clay. Eeeeee cutie! I love the dragetarr dolls. *minds the wait*
We have two albino axolotls and this guy reminds me of them so you did a good job. He is adorable. Our fellas are pretty much pink all over, including the eyes.
Completely adorable!!! On the other one, dunno why this image popped in my head but how about a dragon flamenco dancer? That could be interesting -- an homage to his heritage
a UV resin trick, sometimes the resin doesnt cure in the presence of air, so a thin layer of purified water over the piece and then cure again, usually does the trick!
Soooo adorable!!! As for the lanky dragon... I dunno a mix of a dragon and a unicorn comes to mind. Or rather pegasus? Mixing two mythical creatures could be real fun I think!
How about a zebra tailed lizard they have very long legs and live in desert like regions which would go well with the water theme as a kind of oppisit element. Or if you wanted a more aquitic long legged creature how about a japanese spider crab.
Churro is so adorable. I saw a giraffe with the other dragon doll, with the long legs and neck so maybe a creature with an African Savannah look - it would then contrast nicely with the water theme of Churro.
Churro is lake themed, and I know you said you've done ocean and beach themed, but what if the older brother is a big sea creature. Like an angler fish, a whale shark, or maybe a seahorse since he'll be a lot bigger compared to the smart doll with Churro!
churro is so adorable 🥺 maybe bc salvador has such long legs, he would make a good qilin/deer inspired doll? i haven’t seen many chinese mythology customs, and his body seems perfect for the build!
Churro is so cute! Absolutely adorable, I love him so much. Clearly the dragon lady who owns him also comes from the same lake, though I don't think she'd be an axolotl. His big brother? Hmmm... well he should probably be a different element. I'd love to see an earth element myself, that's not one you see done often for dragons, and usually it's lava (which is very cool, but a little over done).
If you're thinking something water-based for your long dragon, I'd suggest combining a signt-hound, like a greyhound, with something else that lives in rivers and feels 'long' - my first thought was that an Aligator with more irridescence or shiny scaling would be cool, but Sturgeon, Beta-fish, Electric eels, or Otters might also be interesting. Maybe even a dinosaur.
Churro is absolutely ADORABLE! 💖💖💖 I love the colours and the sculpting is fantastic. As for the other dragon... since this one was a bit dachshund inspired, maybe an afghan hound inspiration?

So cute! I find when you add liquid clay to polymer clay it dries out and crumbles, definitely best off getting some clay softener or a tiny bit of baby oil to condition it and save the liquid clay for attachments!
Churro is definitely a stubby chonk chonk chonk boi and is so cute! I love the little details and the dots remind me of how reptiles and amphibians have translucent skin with dots all over. That clay gradient makes my heart sing and love that tail shape!
And I respect you as an artist
I love when my favorite creatives reference each other because I feel like it means I've made a good choice in following them.
He looks like the kind of pet that would be getting in to trouble XD
Like maybe he would go chasing frogs or come home covered in mud leaving cute little muddy foot prints everywhere.
Hiii Karen! 😁😁😁
ITS YOU
What a beautiful .... Draxolotl? Yeah Churro is definitely a super cute draxolotl! You both always knock these out of the park!
Lol I like the Hybrid name Draxoltl :D my dragon axoltol is blue with fluffy cloud like gills and hail stone spikes.
@@grimlen_named_Moss sounds like a beautiful draxolotol!
@@Reynallday yay thank you :D
They like to hang around misty areas and constantly remind people to stay hydrated lol.
Axogon? Idk, Draxolotl is a cool name too!
@@wandaswanson24 omg yess

THIS. It's got long legs and cool frills and stuff, and it runs on water!
I would love to see this!

Ice theme is such a good idea!
How 'bout ice cream
Maybe a greyhound, to continue with the dog comparison!
Churro is adorable! I think an adorable companion for him would be a Gila Monster for a land/fire theme since the color palettes would be almost an inverse of each other and it would continue the Mexican theme.

For the Salvador you could base the pet portion of it off a greyhound or great dane! Churro is adorable, as always
I was thinking a long sight-hound would be perfect for the other dragon's design.

Such an interesting idea!
Churro is so cute!!
Ooh! Salvador would look so pretty as a maned wolf dragon with its long legs and slim body~
Churro is absolutely adorable.~ I have no ideas for the other dragon or the dragoness, but I would love to see more dolls with henna.~
As a Mexican, I feel very honored that you decided to take a bit from our culture to create a doll 💜💜
aww Churro is so sweet
This is adorable and I want to make one of my own now! For Salvador, maybe you could do an insect theme. Air or earth, with a praying mantis, stick insect, or harlequin beetle perhaps?
I love how you show your process with your fails, cause most people make us think they are 100% perfect and its very discouraging.
you are amazing!
He’s soo cute. You are wonderfully talented. Would you consider doing a fantasy creature based on a spider? I’d love to see a soft and delicate design for our 8 legged friend. Something sympathetic and sweet. Spiders are helpful and I’m tired of them getting a bad reputation.
Salvador could be like a fire themed giraffe dragon
Churro is so cute 😍 (and his nickname could be Churrito because adding -ito/-ita to a word describes the smallness and/or cuteness of something)
He's so cute but so badass at the same time! He looks straight out of a videogame, I love him. 💙
So cute! I feel you on stringing. I still haven't figured it out... it drives me nuts. Took me three hours and five tries to get my own BJD strung.
As an axolotl mama, this is so cute!! Definitely how my little Mushu sees himself as. You both did amazing as always!
Man this concept (axolotl dragons) reminds me of when I was younger and I first learned of the axolotls existence and my small 7 year old self decided she wanted to make it a dragon
I really want to remake my old dragon species now
They were just called axolotl dragons lol
The other kinds I used google translate for but that one was just exactly what it was
such a cute custom !! just a note though, axolotl is actually pronounced as "ah-SHO-lot-le" with a soft X sound. not many people know this so no worries, just thought you'd want to know :)
I love Churro. Very cute. Maybe some kind of swan themed dragon for the other doll? The long long neck and how graceful and sleek it looks kind of reminds me of a swan
All of your dolls look so pretty, I don’t know how you have the patience to this
He is very cute, but I kind of wish you'd done polymer clay for the wing flaps too, and the eyes seem dull. Perhaps some varnish? The sculpting and paint are excellent overall and I think you accomplished your goals in making this doll!
The irony is I burned the heck out of myself today with a churro. Make Salvador a great dane or a whippet/ Grey hound
I think Salvador should also be a dragon pet, but just a bigger breed, so churro is Dachshund in this universe and Salvidor is a greyhound.
I was thinking about a doberman but a greyhound suits well too!
Adorable, absolutely adorable! He's just ssssssoooooo cute!
The long lean boi might be air
Forest dragon next? Or forest dragoness? Greens, earthy brown tones and some purples. Would look soooo goooood!
so cute and tiny.
my very first thought for the larger dragon was spider-esque because of the long legs, or a praying mantis type, but i don't think either one would really work lol. maybe something tree like because of the long legs, something like the legs being tree like that way when it stands still, it's invisible to a human's gaze.

EDIT: I went to see Dragetarr website and apparently they are a Finnish company. Go me.
Salvador reminds me of those freaky Turbinid-Dragons from 'Made In Abyss'
What about a tree themed earth dragon doll for the other dragon? It might be cool for vines and stuff to hang off of them.
I would recommend putting a glossy varnish or resin on his eyes to make them shiny
I put 3 coats of glossy varnish on his eyes and omg it's so difficult to photograph because of the shine, never again 😅
Cooking with Barb, first rule is make sure the chewy bit is actually food and not some form of clay.
Eeeeee cutie! I love the dragetarr dolls.
*minds the wait*
Your videos and your dolls are always so beautiful and fun! Thank you for sharing!
We have two albino axolotls and this guy reminds me of them so you did a good job. He is adorable. Our fellas are pretty much pink all over, including the eyes.
I laughed so much with the name, as a mexican I approve
The tiny legs are undoing me! Churro is too cute! 🥺🥺🥺
Great video
Churro is so cute and I love his axolotl and dragon blend. I love axolotl so much. I can’t wait to see what his owner will look like.
Churro is so precious. I kept telling my mom how much i wanted one. Totally need to save up to make my own.
I've watched a few customs of salvadore bjd now. I'm sure whatever you two come up with will be amazing. They're all so different and fun!
I love this so much partially because I love axolotls and have one, but because I love your customizing work!
Awww! I love Churro! And I look forward to your thin thin thin boi in whatever style you choose to make him/her.
Awwww he came out so adorable😭😭😭 You did such a great job!
Soooo adorable!!! As for the lanky dragon... I dunno a mix of a dragon and a unicorn comes to mind. Or rather pegasus? Mixing two mythical creatures could be real fun I think!
He came out amazing! I love axolotls, and Churro is such a cute name too!
Oh my gosh Churro is such a cutie pie!!! Wonderful work!!
How about a zebra tailed lizard they have very long legs and live in desert like regions which would go well with the water theme as a kind of oppisit element. Or if you wanted a more aquitic long legged creature how about a japanese spider crab.
AWWWW HES SO CUTE
Totally Spectacular? Totally Spies doll? OMG o.O
Btw Churro is so cute
Churro is so adorable. I saw a giraffe with the other dragon doll, with the long legs and neck so maybe a creature with an African Savannah look - it would then contrast nicely with the water theme of Churro.
Churro is lake themed, and I know you said you've done ocean and beach themed, but what if the older brother is a big sea creature. Like an angler fish, a whale shark, or maybe a seahorse since he'll be a lot bigger compared to the smart doll with Churro!
Shark could be cute! 🦈
churro is so adorable 🥺 maybe bc salvador has such long legs, he would make a good qilin/deer inspired doll? i haven’t seen many chinese mythology customs, and his body seems perfect for the build!
Im in love with this little fella, the colors are beautiful
TAGLIATELLE! I’m from Italy, perfect pronunciation and beautiful creation!🥰
I love him! I think you should have used glossy varnish to make him look wet to continue the water theme.
Churro is so cute! Absolutely adorable, I love him so much. Clearly the dragon lady who owns him also comes from the same lake, though I don't think she'd be an axolotl.
His big brother? Hmmm... well he should probably be a different element. I'd love to see an earth element myself, that's not one you see done often for dragons, and usually it's lava (which is very cool, but a little over done).
he's so adorable! the color gradients are perf! for the future owner of churro, it would be awesome to have a puppy bag to hold the baby dragon :'>
Churro is sooooo cute I love watching you guys costumise dolls!
Maybe even a dinosaur.
he looks SO tiny with the smart doll!! So cute
I honestly can't get over how cute churro turned out 😭💕
Churro is absolutely ADORABLE! 💖💖💖 I love the colours and the sculpting is fantastic. As for the other dragon... since this one was a bit dachshund inspired, maybe an afghan hound inspiration?
OHMYGOODNESS!!! Such a cute creation!
I use a lot of UV resin and it will have a hard time curing on an opaque background. Also it shrinks in such large batches (also large batches stink and if you can smell it, slap a mask on). Also I use a nail lamp so I have to cure mine at least 2 cycles before I try touching them, but it will be longer if the resin is thicker. It works similar to the UV gel polish, but will cure hard. I highly recommend Sophie and Toffee for molds. I use the backside of the molds for flat things. I love UV resin and hate having to deal with epoxy resin (it's so messy and takes sooooo much longer). I hope this helps!
I appreciate this custom so much as axolotls are my absolute favorite animal and who doesn't love dragons, this is a power combo custom. (at least in my eyes)
Churro is adorable! I wanna suggest a Borzoi as an inspiration for Salvador's eventual makeover - possibly an air/storm vibe?
I dunno if anyone else suggested this, but since Churro is also sort of like a dog, it would be so cool and adorable to base the other dragon on a greyhound!
A note about the water texture, I would look into products made for dioramas, I think Woodland Scenics makes a clear shapeable paste meant to mimic waves on the surface of water.
I know cause I like to watch dioramas being made, but I'm not sure it's available in Poland so easily. Plus, buying this specific of a product for one doll seems wasteful to me so I was trying to make it work with what I had on hand 🤗
I think the older brother dragon should be a arrogant air dragon.
CHUNKY BOY IS SO CUTE! And churro is just the perfect name for him, Mexican approved lil chonk
0:45 the kaypea creations reference 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺💖💖💖💖💖💖
The doll looks adorable! It is also my favourite animal! 🦎
Churro is so adorable! I love all the details you put into him!
The next doll is Totally Spies themed, I'm calling it!!
Churro is super cute and using translucent clay was brilliant!
Just as the small one resembles a dachshound, the larger one resembles a dobermann. So maybe a guardian angel-dragon-hound?
The only dobermann I've known personally was one of the sweetest dogs I've ever met.
So cute! I find when you add liquid clay to polymer clay it dries out and crumbles, definitely best off getting some clay softener or a tiny bit of baby oil to condition it and save the liquid clay for attachments!
Salvador could be a great Dane dragon if you want to keep the dog dragon theme. So cute!
DELIGHTFUL, i was just thinking in a video of yours to make a non-humanoid doll, love you both
