This is absolutely super. Just discovered this clip by happenstance. To have grown up with those classic Star Trek end credits in reruns, and then to have The Simpsons do an homage of it ... what fun. Love it.

While cool it didn't make sense since this is the original series end credits and had nothing to do with TNG or DS9 with Milhouse. A little consistency would've been even better.
Lol Mr Burns as baloks alter ego from "the corbomite maneuver" star trek tos shame the simpsons don't do a full episode based on star trek tos that would be dope.
Thanks for posting this. The end credits killed me. The rest of the episode seemed low on laughs but, the Cat Lady/Trouble with Tribles, mash up had me crying.
I'm surprised Tress MacNeille hasn't become part of the principal cast yet (like Dan Castellaneta, Nancy Cartwright, Hank Azaria, etc.) She's been in every episode of the show since 1999.

Even though Modern Simpsons arent so good this is 1 of those that are great. William Shatner SHOULD have lended his voice to a character on The Simpsons AND Family Guy.
I typically hate all of the new Simpsons (past season 10) but I have to say these e ding credits were awesome! A residual trace of the once great writing of the show.
Basically the only good part of an episode that broke the setting. Kang and Kodos are fine in the Halloween episode, but the Simpsons meeting them and even going to their homeworld in a regular episode (I don't think this was a Halloween special). In short The Simpsons just met the Great Gazoo (or Ozmodiar)
SonicMaster Sword They actually included a line where Homer asks why the aliens are wearing costumes "it's not Halloween". Presumably thinking that if they acknowledge the incongruity it becomes ok.
The animators should had made a sunny day scene of Abraham seeing Mona and the rest of the family while a probe of bearing their stories is sent to space.

Using cats as tribbles very clever
I sometimes pretend my cats are tribbles and hug them like crazy.
Yeah
Ive heard the tribbles were based of flat cats
My family’s nickname for one of our cats is Tribble 😂
It’s great until she moves to Springfield. OH.
RIP Leonard Nimoy, star of STAR TREK.
Barney as Harry Mudd, brilliant

Of course, this was Alf Clausen's rendition of Star Trek's theme from 1966.
Family Guy did Star Wars parodies, now The Simpsons has to spoof Star Trek.
I missed this the first time. When I was able to finally catch it, my wife wondered why I was laughing so hard.
Best credits ever :)
Okay, this was worth it just for Barney as Harry Mudd. Absolute genius.
