I’m curious…What happened to all the talent that went into creating these great dramatic shows? It seems like this art was lost, supplanted, by television which led to a very quick diminution in writing, acting and imagination (the classic 50’s Television audience would likely be watching professional wrestling or a rigged game show on a grainy 13” black and white while this medium was quickly dying.) As we all well know, progress doesn’t always make things better. Thanks for bringing us a small reminder of how good things sometimes were in the past!
A hell of alot of the performers went on to successful TV careers Jack Webb, Harry Morgan, Lee Marvin,Frank Krushan, Vic Perrin, John McIntire and countless some ladies too
I typically try to leave all of the shows intact, ads music and all. I do sometimes trim the music at the end if it was just used to fill airtime, but for the most part, I try to avoid editing content.
The Broderick Matter. Simply brilliant in all depts. First class radio drama.🙏🏻

I love these, they're like a police procedural!

The scenery is awesome, a look into the past
Awesome! I put various clips together and upscale them to HD. I think it helps with a more immersive experience!
They sure liked their hats back then. And they also had a lot of jaywalkers.
Yeah it's crazy how everyone is just in the street and the cars are all over the place! The good old days! I stil love my hats btw 🙂
lol, funny I noticed those 2 things too. I don't think they had traffic lights.
Enjoyed listening to one of my favorite old-time radio shows, Johnny Dollar. Also, enjoyed the subscribers in the chat. Take care 📻

I agree. But as a whole, a great deal of talent was lost…and an entire medium!

The Giant animals' ad sure got annoying, can they be edited out?
