Steve is killer as usual. He plays death metal all his career, please pay attention how his arrangements sound natural, well meshed with guitars, in flawless harmony, despite being brutal as fcuk. It makes his drums sound catchy af.
not that he is only criminally underrated drummer but people are not paying much attention that he runs this band from day one. he is the main composer. people are usually seeing Deicide as a band with Hoffmans and post Hoffmans era while Glen being face of the band whole time, but Steve is master behind the whole band. he is the one orchestrating and pulling the strings. living legend.

I saw him live with both C.C and SFU and I really felt the power from the stage. Same goes for Benton, Tardy and Vincent when I saw them in the 90s. Those guys still sound pretty good though. Barnes, on the other hand, appears to have destroyed his voice.
