Been following your work since 2018. It’s been incredible to see the progress that you have made!
Thank you very much. We work very hard on this project.🙂

Looks amazing, just love the exhaust area shape.
thank you 🙂
My god Leokimvideo, you don't half get around.
I need one of these for my backyard. I don't think my HOA would mind at all
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Need two for your family jet…🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 you know your HOA would be thrilled at the reduction in traffic on the roads…😁😁😁😁😁
HOA "what are you doing?" You: I'm going green and this drives my wind turbine when the wind doesn't blow..."
Insane work. Got to be the most insane rc turbo fan i've seen
Thank you very much :)
Extraordinaire ! J’en rêvais d’un turbofan petite puissance ! Mais puissance suffisante pour des vrais mini jet personnel ! Vous pouvez coller ça sur un subsonex !
Pretty amazing progression. Would love to see it fly in something!
Looks awesome!
2 questions. What is the bypass ratio? What is the thrust of the turbojet inside (or how much thrust gain there is with the turbofan)?
Ayyyyy they’re back!!!
😊☺️ It takes a while to develop this new engine. You‘re right. Thank you for being here🙂
i am so excited for this project! hope we get some numbers soon!
I feel the spirit of Wile E. Coyote creeping into my brain.
same. What can this go on?
We want more DST content ❤
I think this would be perfect for glide aircraft take off
This is perfect for a small speed plane
Question:
How efficient these type of engines are?
and What are the output and inputs in term of fuel and thrust?
jet exhaust carbon filber can withstand the heat from engine or need add some heat resistant material inside ?
No carbon fiber cannot resist that heat at all.. Also there is duct tape covering the brand on the controller, he didn't manufacturer this he modified some hobby RC turbine to look like he did.
I want to see two of these in a 1/2 scale A-10 warthog.
Nice idea 🥳 who wants to build a 1/2 A-10 in CF ? 😛
@DSTEngines Given the size of the A-10, it could work! A single seat LSA with dual turbofans...now, I need a few million dollars...
Die Nachbarn freuen sich :)
Ist ein abgelegenes Gelände ☺️
Nice! Very nice....
Axial or Linear flow for the main combustion?
Looks great! What is the thrust and bypass ratio?
What's the bypass ratio?
It is the amount of air passed by jet engine core
@@MohamedMohamed-li5jx 🤣😂🤣😂
@@MohamedMohamed-li5jx read again the question... He's not asking what is bypass ratio... He's asking for the bypass ratio numbers produced by that turbofan...
More than you can afford pal
@@bobbyantrobus1805 just as much of a nonsequitur as the comment left by MohamedMohamed-li5jx - 🤣 but still, probably accurate. I would guess the PRICE (not bypass ratio) to be something around $15,000, just a wild guess - and the ACTUAL bypass ratio to be something like 1:5, but again that is a wild guess.
Sehr geil, kommen noch mehr Videos dazu?
Mit der Zeit werden weitere Videos folgen😊
Geared or free shaft? Hard to tell but i dont see any low pressure turbine?
Well, at least you won't get suck in the jet engine! How's that jet blast?
I read that those huge Concorde had to stay below 22 kg for legal reasons. Seems like we need to wait for a 7kg version for a A320 scale RC plane.
You mean the 10m concorde? It have to stay under 150kg.
Video starts at 0:40
Can I know the simple specifications of the core engine? thrust. fuel consumption.
And the bypass ratio of this engine.
The Frank Turbine FT500 has the same fuel consumption (1600ml/min) with 500N thrust as a pure turbojet. My guess is that the FT1500 core is probably similar to the FT500. This suggests a bypass ratio of probably between two and four.
@@MysticalDorkthe FT1500 TF has 1.5kN thrust, not 500N
@@daszieher Yes, but the Ft500 turbojet, which I was referring to, does have 500N of thrust. Go back and read my comment again.
@@MysticalDork I did. It is confusing. 😄
The same rotating assembly will consume more when working as a core to a turbofan in contrast to the same design working as a pure turbojet.
Putting a fan won't reduce TFSC by 66%
@@daszieher >Putting a fan won't reduce TFSC by 66%
Yeah, it really will. You're capturing the energy in the high velocity (often supersonic) exhaust gases and using that energy to spin a fan, to move a much large amount of air more slowly. More air more slowly is more efficient than less air faster.
will there be an option to extend the spool's shaft out to drive different things instead of the fan?
Of course it is possible to do drive different things instead of the fan.
🙂
Wow cool.
Endlich kommen wieder Innovationen aus Österreich
Endlich?😮
If you had two of those you could put them on an experimental aircraft and have a jet powered aircraft
Wow ..... nice
Do you have an accessory box for electric power or bleed air?
Axial or centrifugal?
D=300 mm, F thrust (kG/kW )=? dB =? (much more as 60 dB ?)
F thrust circa 150 kG ? fuel l/h ?
Can u reassemble the part of the engine
Where can I buy this?
Frank Turbine
Sensacional
Thank you 😊
Wow this is amazing! What kind of machinery is needed to make stuff like this?
Is it 1500 N. Max thrust?
Da sind Verträge im Spiel wa? ;)
It has a gearbox for the fan huh
What's the thrust ?
Wo ist das?
Österreich 🇦🇹
How much power?
I am extremely interested in this.
1.79 kN?
up to 1.5
Blew me away...new generation of turbofan. 2 spools are better!
The Cri Cri jet ultralight would do much better with those, than the R/C jet turbines it has now.
selling these?
Yes, in the mid of 2024.
next step: turbofan engines for small business jets :)
thrust ?
1500N
Thrust?
1.000 to 1.500N
Oppressor MK2
Camera man or editor they need to work getting way better views.............Kenneth Boren..................
Thank you for your criticism 🙂 We try to do it better at the next time.
You modified an RC hobby turbojet engine and put a cover on it along with duct tape over the brand on the controller... Also that turbofan is not driven by the power turbine so it's not going to create any useful thrust, this is why it's spinning so slow on the front turbine -- no coupling/driven by intake flow. Are you kidding, you cannot sell this
Mesin nosel blat semprot dari samping
is this a joke !!!

its very boring, because nobody needs such a turbine ^^
The requests show something different. 😉
Said nobody ever
Simple turbojets smaller than that have been used to power actual manned airplanes, although admittedly very small ones (so called microjets), but still. This turbofan has a whole range of useful applications, ranging from moderate size UAV's to manned airplanes capable of carrying 2 or 3 people, perhaps even 4, and of course they would make the perfect addition to some millionaire's 1:10 sized RC concorde or Airbus A380....
