Can you imagine how powerful Big mom's attack was if she knew how to infuse her Marma-Raid (Napoleon and Hela) with advanced conqueror haki? That would be on the same level as Luffy's White Star gun.
I noticed that any character with observation haki can't avoid this attack even if they noticed it. ex: Kaido, Kizaru. Luffy spins before he use this punch, maybe to make it more random/surprise move of an attack.
