He died at the same age as his father. Too bad people didn’t know back then that Peter Sellers probably had Bi-Polar Disorder and/or some other mental disorder.

Esther Rantzen is a terrible interviewer. So insensitive to her interviewees, and their painful legacies from being raised by lousy, narcissistic parents!

That is a good, committed son, especially after the way his father treated him. May his soul rest in peace.
I liked Michael, sad that he passed away so young.
The same age as his dad, I think.

@@LocksLondon I read it a few years ago. Yes, it is really good.
@@matthewakian2I think he wrote a 2nd book also, a more candid version.
God Bless you, Michael and family
Michael, like his father, died young from a heart attack.
Oh thats sad
On the same date, July 24th , 26 years later.
Michael was only 52.
So sad.
Loved this ,im going looking for the rest of the interview about the other guests ,thank you for the video
I believe Lynne Frederick was age 39 when she died.
That’s unfortunately true. Wish she was still here. She would’ve turned 70 in 2024
Peter sounds like my father , he never left his 3 kids anything in his will either . 😢
I live a mile from his birthplace in Southsea Portsmouth.
That woman sitting in the audience behind Esther Rantzen looks like Norman Wisdoms daughter Jaqui Wisdom.
They both died on the 24th of July
How bizarre.
On his fathers 26th death anniversary by a heart attack too
Poor Michael Peter was not good to him sadly.I hope as least he came to terms with him.
Kinda sad interview
There were many rumors of how difficult Peter Sellers was including he was not so funny in real life and he had a very dark side.
Winnie Wallace...Just because a person's famous doesn't make them nice.

Michael was 52 years old, Peter was 54 years old
Doesn't he look _just like_ Sellers' longtime close friend, the actor David Lodge? 🤨 Such a coincidence.
Holy crap, I just looked up David Lodge. You're 100% right.
No

Winnie Wallace... Father's who they refer to as difficult, it's well known they were a little bit more than difficult.

Please have some compassion and respect for Lynne Frederick.
Yes it seems people been unfair to lynne Fredrick sounds like she had to put up with Peter being nasty to her before the end
Erm no.....
She refused to part with any money for Michael and Sarah which was abhorrent.
Sellers was disturbed like Fonda or Bing Crozby , they left sad children
He was just a famous celebrity, with all the pressures that came with it
peter sellers was possessed, he was doing witchcraft. i remember reading that.
Really? He was practicing the dark arts? I'd never heard that.
@@teresacooley2889 as i understand it ,and it seems true with all that's of late with hollywood
That’s not true. He was very spiritual, but he didn’t dabble in that sort of stuff.

Absolute nonsense!!!!
Lynne died of a seizure in her sleep, there was no evidence she was drunk or a drug abuser.
No evidence besides her visits to numerous clinics for alcohol abuse.
She was well known as a terrible alcoholic.
