Dude, it is the first time i repeated the tutorial steps and AND IT WENT JUST AS YOU DESCRIBED! Because usually you're watching tutorial, trying to recreate the steps and everytime something just doesn't work out. But not this time! ❤ Thank You!
Really useful video but there are some problems as two people mentioned before: - you are copying the same Comp so any change you made in one comp affexcts other 8 comps - there's workaround but not shown here - as another person mentioned compositions during rotation as slanted - 3rd issue - when following your tutorial I noticed that there's no size change in perspective when rotating - how can this be fixed?
When I got at the moment for "Transform > Auto orient > Orient towards camera" it simply doesn't work, and stills rotating the same away. For me when I will click in "Orient towards camera" appers an option below called "Orient each Character Independently (requires Pre-charecter 3D), but this option isnt' abble to click. Cause of that I couldn't get foward in the tutorial. Can someone help me? My After Effect is the 2020 version. Thank you all
@@callisterdesign8624 sure. You just right click on your project, select "new" and then choose "camera". This should bring up the camera settings window. For the purpose of this tutorial the default camera settings would be just fine. Click ok and that's it. After this the auto orient should work. You can also add the camera by going to "layer" in the top menu, then "new", then "camera". After this you can play with the camera settings to change the angles, how close/far it is, add blur and a bunch of other things.

I don't know if it's still relevant to you, but this is fixed by adding a camera object through the menu
@@Dbababeyhait still relevant to me yet. Thank you. Could you be a little more specific, please?
