This is where I stay every year it’s fucking sweet back in there. Story goes that the government pulled funding for cabarete and connecting highways and developed punta cana instead. Cabarete is growing very fast now grab some real estate while you can.
Always a story behind each of these! Usually lawyers and some contract that didn’t work! Thanks for the walk thru. Heading back to Las Terrenas at the end of the month!
@@paulraftis7063 You are 100% correct and there are abandoned buildings all over the world, it’s unfortunate because of proximity to this beautiful beach. Safe travels back to beautiful Las Terrenas!! Peace and Blessings
so this isn’t a sign of the property market in caberete in general? i’m looking to compare bayahibe with caberete. not sure which one i should visit on my next trip to the DR for scouting out a vacation house.
Per our Dominican real estate agent, this property has been purchased and is in the process of bringing it back to life one step at a time…the property is on both sides of the road and covers a very large area and has lots of units that vary in size
@@CarmenLeon-y2u that would be amazing for that area! It is and has been an eyesore to say the least for at least two years since I first visited the area but it seems like much longer than that. Thanks for the comments and I will the new owners and the locals much success!!
WOW, there should be some investors that could turn these properties around and make some beautiful apartments or condos… You should reach out to Jamie Gruber and Jay maybe even Mike Masters… There is money to be made my friend… I would be interested in investing possibly…

@@edwardbusch3689 Cabarete is small and narrow but I really dig the vibe that it has! Definitely a true beach town!

@@coneryj could be a sign or maybe it’s just the area that these properties are located in Cabarete.

@@johnrencher442 I think this area has potential but it does have its challenges, it looks like it was thriving possibly 10 years ago or so.
