- Dick Enberg, the longtime sportscaster who got his big break with UCLA basketball and went on to call Super Bowls, Olympics, Final Fours and Angels and Padres baseball games, died Thursday. He was 82.
Enberg was my favorite broadcaster. Memories of my childhood watching nfl games. R.I.P.
I remember watching him as an Olympics commentator when I was a kid. May he rest in peace.
Great and I mean GREAT sportscaster, a true legend! I always loved listening to him, had one of those voices that was perfect for announcing, he had an excitement in how he sounded to great plays that were made, he made you feel like you were at the game you were watching.
"Oh my" RIP Mr. Enberg
Arguably, the greatest sportscaster of all time. And such a class act.
✌ out... you represent a style and class thank you
Rest in peace Mr Enberg

Well s#!t, RIP Legend
At some point as he matured, I'd think he would've said, "I'm not gonna be called 'Dick' for the rest of my life".
