I don't understand how these people can complain about Michael becoming more withdrawn and reclusive from the public eye and the media. The way they're talking about him is exactly why he became that way. When you start picking people apart and invading their privacy, the natural response is to close up. It's a defense mechanism. They forgot that he was a human being with the same right to privacy and peace of mind as everyone else. He wasn't an animal at the zoo.
I just loved Michael Jackson so much! He was a perfectionist genius and he had so many talents- even his talent for always wearing such amazing, beautiful clothing, man, he was so classy, he packed more living and influence into 50 years than everyone else put together on this earth. His cultural influence will live on in the best of us. There will never be anyone else that bright a star.
Why should a great artist like him be in touch with the real world anyway? That may stunt his creativity. He wasn't out of touch with real life though. He just acted mysterious. Behind the scenes, in private he was doing all sorts of normal activities and banter with people. He certainly had an eccentric side but it only came out sometimes. Other times he was totally normal and normal can be. Many personalities MJ did have.
I wonder, if his dad wasn't so forceful and abusive about performing. How would of that affected his career? Would we have gotten Beat it or Thriller? Would he still be alive today?
He was born with a supreme voice, his father didn't beat that into him. His love of movies is why we got Thriller, Beat It, Smooth Criminal, etc. Michael would still be King but with a better childhood. The only difference here being the need to chase a childhood would no longer be there, and the angle to destroy him with a despicable lie would also be gone. So yes, MJ most likely would still be alive but his music would be more Dirty Diana than Heal The World. The Weeknd comes to mind.
