      Apparently i never responded to this... But as you can tell from other comments its usually because you're too far away from the router and you have a weak wifi signal

    I bought a couple of these to keep an eye on my parents home while they are away. They would also like to view the home as well. I have the camera already set up on my phone. I now have downloaded the app on their phone so I can share it. In order to program the camera to their phone do I need to reset the camera in the back pressing the little button until its flashing red/blue ? Will this kick me off and cause me to have to redo it on my app again or will it still stay programed to my phone? I'm not sure how to go through the process of sharing. You did a wonderful job with the set up, maybe you can make a new one with sharing cameras. Thank you !!

    It says wireless but it doesn't turn on it I unplug it. Do I need to keep it connected?

      Did you figure it out? I just got mine and as soon we installed it , I disconnected it and know it's saying Not Connected? What am I doing wrong? Someone please help 😫

    Why in the world would there be a need for the app to know your location? That's an absolutely ridiculous demand, especially considering that those very people who own the app, can already see inside your home. So, think about that for a moment 🤔...the company behind the app can view the inside of your home, so they know your habits and Comings and goings, and now, because they won't let you use the app unless you tell them where your home is located, they are making you very vulnerable and putting you at great security risk. Of course, all they'd see on my cameras would be how often I clean my guns.

    How do you eject the SD card? I can't find any online reference on how to remove the SD card. I thought it might be spring loaded but that doesn't seem to work on my Q5.

    Hi, I run the installation at home and it works perfectly. At my shop I can't get it to connect to wifi 2.4. He always replies that he can't connect. Can you help me understand what to do ?!

      I think its a bit too far away from the router which might cause problems. Try getting it close to the router

      @@YanPagan I don't think you can do that. The camera needs to be set up to wifi in the house where it's at, asking with your phone on the wifi for the moment.

      you can use the app no problem but if you don't istall an sd card you won't be able to see the movie of the dectected moments.
      Unless you sign up for cloud service but that's not free.
      The sd card slot is on the front black part below the camera eye , you have manually to roll up the black part and you will see the little slot for the sd card

    Hi mate good video , I've got one problem , when the motion sensor goes off it only records for like 5 seconds is there a way to increase this ?

      @@CoolFoxification yea it don't seem to be doing it , I moved for 1 minute in front of the camera and it cut off after 6 seconds

    hi, how are you finding it now youve had it a while? is it clear at night time? and can you turn the lights off it so you can have it looking out the window at night? thanks

      I sadly didnt keep using it but its good. As for night time, you should be able to turn off the lights. (Not using it as I have no use for one)

      The Led will not light up in dark, so you can put it to windows.

    Hi the box on my q5 describes it as a pan/tilt/ZOOM but I can not find the zoom function on the app any advice?

      I don't think it should move on its own. It only moves when you move it

    the key issue with this camera is that its not reliable when it comes to recording. once it detects motion it'll stop recording randomly losing valuable moments. not a bad price point but for home security your better off buying something else. I sent customer service an email and sent me another camera but had the same issue with the new camera. ive had the camera for about a month tweaking with the settings and was disappointed.

    I tried several times, checked router, unplugged it and all and still NADA. Can't reach customer service by phone so I sent an email. I was given instructions on how to connect using the Hotspot. This option was a pain! However, the camera connected once completely, I turned off the Hotspot.....unfortunately, shortly after, the camera lost connection! What an unfortunate inconvenience and pain!! SMH But, I'm not giving up on it just yet. How is it possible that the camera connected using the Hotspot and disconnected when I turned it off? I shouldn't have to have the Hotspot on.

    The fact that the app wants your location in order to set up is a dealbreaker for me. Nobody needs to know where I am. I will look for another product. Good unboxing presentation, thanks!

      This is in fact very common with these smart devices, even smartwatches and such sometimes request this. I believe it has to do something with Bluetooth, although I myself do not see the correlation. (Info was brought by an app which requested location, so take it with a grain of salt)

      you can see the video through the cell phone , the calendar will show you the days when some movements are recorded and the times highlighted you can view them and save them to your phome as MP4

      @@CoolFoxification When I walk by, ill hear a click noise from the camera. I think it may be the camera adjusting its lens when something is moving.

    Has anyone had any issues with the camera after connecting to the WiFi? For me, it keeps "Establishing a secure channel" and never starts to stream. Funny enough I can set it and restart it from the app (so it is connected). I've already set up the camera 3-to 4 times + 1 factory reset. Any other ideas? thanks

    Installed it myself without any issues. The wifi signal is great even ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxE_D_sddGAdiVUKp7PkkmyxO7bRtgqmk5 when the router is located far away. I really enjoy the night vision feature that allows me to see clearly any activity near our house (mostly cars and wild animals). The motion detection is helpful to me as well to monitor what happens on our front.

    stupid product 👎🏿 just wasted my hard earned money... they don’t tell you till you buy and find out yourself that this only works on a lower internet connection. Almost every home here in the USA has a higher internet connection. I don’t get it. Why do you develop a product that behaves like something from the ice age? I want my money back 💪🏿I have spectrum with 5g but this only works with lower g’s, why didn’t you say that before I bought it. I’m so pissed.

      vous devriez pouvoir activer les légendes, et il y a une fonction de traduction automatique (au moins sur le bureau) où vous pouvez le traduire automatiquement en français :)

    I just got the camera. I put 128 gb sd card on it, then plugged the power. I don't want to use cloud. SD card recording only...
    First red light came up, then it started red/blue blinking. So, it must be ready for recording. I waved my hand over 10 seconds, unplugged, took out the SD card.
    However, it was empty. It didn't record anything. Any ideas?

      It should show on the display that it is recording. There should be a red blinking light on the display.

    Got given this as a gift when I found out I was pregnant. After reading others reviews/comments, it seems that everyone has some sort of issue with it. I can’t even get mine set up and running as it’s not sending me a confirmation email to sign up with (tried 2 different emails) and it won’t allow me to use my mobile number either! I’ve tried emailing the company to make me an account manually and had no reply. I would recommend others to look for a different camera.

      @@SBha30 I sent mine back and got the Reolink E1 Pro, which works with 5GHZ wi-fi and records continuously.

      @@SBha30 I'm recording continuously to SD Card so no monthly subscription needed. The only downside to the card is that an intruder could take the camera with them.
