I recently watched a video where this woman compared a Chanel tweed jacket to a Shein tweed jacket and for me there was no comparison whatsoever. The Chanel jacket was superior in every way, shape and form from the materials they used to the construction and fit of the jacket. Some things are just worth spending that extra money on and others aren't like a white t-shirt. Great video! 💕
@@ShweMyaukMyauk I know what you mean but the woman doing the comparison video wanted to compare something super inexpensive that anyone could buy and not break the bank which is why she chose Shein.
Yes! I think so much of the art of clothing making is lost now in this world of fast fashion! The Chanel jacket is one of the few remaining pieces that captures the quality of the past on the market today!
I LOVE this MADDIE! I also have bought some pieces from Chanel RTW that have not worked and it truly kills me because it is so expensive. I'm trying to be less impulsive now. I'm glad you know what works for you!!!
love that you buy ready to wear. also congrats on learning what is not for you. also I am shocked about the whites eventually turning yellow especially for the price.
Great insights Maddie! I recently bought a white LV tank top and already switching my deodorant to aluminum free so it doesn’t stain and looking for sweat protectors and items to layer under it on Amazon. Totally agree with you and at what point do we really want to be fussing over the white no matter if it’s from a luxury brand or not? Thanks for the great content!
Love this channel & the content. Totally agree that white does turn yellow over time, in fashion, bags, shoes & so many other things. In Asia due to humidity dark patches & mould may be a concern when kept away for long periods. I’m very careful not to spend too much on white luxury items, preferring to invest in darker tones.
Great video. Great advice about the white t shirts. Chanel RTW mistakes can be very costly.
Absolutely!

I mean comparing it to saint Laurent, Celine or even balmain style jackets that mimic Chanel is probably fairer

Hi great insight on you part for Chanel. Yes I have a white technical stretch tee. Nothing yet but won’t buy more. Can you show pics next time. Thanks
Maddie can you do a video like this about your handbag journey? What you’ve learned and how it’s evolve over time?
Oooh good idea! Let me brainstorm more on this!!

Yes unfortunately some lessons are expensive which is why I love to reflect on what didn’t work! We live and learn!

All whites turn yellow
Yes all white eventually turns yellow sadly.
Yeah, I wear a lot of white and cream but only high street or premium high street because if it gets ruined Im ok with it x great video x
Yes! All whites yellow eventually so it’s good to buy items you are ok with parting with one day!

Thank you so much for watching!!
Do you ask the dry cleaning to remove the buttons?
The usually just cover them to protect them but I try not to dry clean too often and prefer to use steam and sunlight.
I couldn't agree more about white. It looks great but it has a short life span of looking great.
So sad because it’s stunning! Just not an investment
