    I clocked it before your outro. I loved this content. Your random thoughts are a unique perspective and your low-key energy refreshing. Thanks for taking the step and branching out. Can’t wait to see how your “brand” keeps evolving.

      I couldn't have said it better myself. I'll add that while information is super helpful, what makes your channel unique is that after giving all the info, you show us your emotions while trying (or choosing not) to put it all into practice, e.g., yes you still wear black! Idk if that kind of stuff just isn't highlighted by the algorithm or what, but I definitely need more of that in my life because it makes me feel less alone! As someone who is information-hungry, but gets a little frozen when living my actual life and trying to put it all into practice (and I venture to guess a lot of people can relate), this is exactly the kind of content I need :)

    I like this content! More MBTI chats please 😊 I wouldn’t have picked you for an INTJ but it makes sense! I’m an INFJ which means we both share “introverted intuition” as our dominant function. I was telling my friend the other day that I like the way you conceptualise and explain things - it just makes sense to me 🔮

      Haha I never took MBTI all that seriously when I thought of it as a categorization system but now that I’m seeing things from a spectrum & dominant function perspective it’s gotten a lot more interesting and relatable for me!

    Excellent video! I really enjoyed this. I think once we've done life in comfort clothes, then it's almost impossible to go back to restrictive and uncomfortable clothing. It's one of the many reasons I've given up blazers, tight jeans, non breathable fabrics, heels, and fancy sleeves. To me comfort equals practical and more efficient in my work and essentially less "pain". I'm extraordinarily picky about my bottoms now. They have to be flowy, Stretchy, or loose, the right length and either cozy for cold weather or lightweight for hot weather. I may try on 20 or more before I find 1 good one. To me it's worth the work and time spent to search, and I regret bringing pieces into my closet that are a waste of money, when I keep reaching for my same comfort pants LOL

      you look good in black. i’m personally really glad i took all the black out of my wardrobe. whatever ones neutrals are become very easy to style once you embrace your personal neutrals. as a light spring mine are camel (light and dark) warm browns, olive and ivory. my wardrobe is full of these colours now so it’s easy!

    Love this video, and it is so good hearing your thought processes and considerations of realities of life. I am getting really comfortable with my style thanks to a lot of your videos and I have the same work from home evolution of style. What is really important for me to feel stylish is my hair and accessories both are in a kind of relaxed boho style, and it meets the realities of my life rather than a fantasy life. Thank you

    First of all let me tell you that I loved watching this video. It made me feel like I know a little more about you and that's always a good thing. Also, since I also wfh, this is also inspirational. It has made me think of all the outfits that don't get enough wear in my closet and I am going to take them all out and wear them more often (hopefully) from now on.

    I had to laugh about you feeling old and going into Oak + Fort, trying being in your late 50s and shopping there. 😑 also, just want to add to all the compliments going your way. I appreciate the thoughtfulness you put into everything you talk about, I have learned so much!

    Thanks for keeping it real. I think my wfh outfits are very similar - comfy bottoms for sitting all day, dog walks, and if I’m going to gym, “pre dressing” to some degree. I usually pick my shoes or pants first for the day, depending on what I’ll be doing. I feel like I dress super practical which leads to somewhat frumpy or basic outfits. It’s compounded by skipping makeup and styling my hair though I’ve landed on a minimal makeup look for everyday (brows and lips + sunscreen). Would love another video on how you felt about these looks? Would you iterate on them?

    Yes I like this type of video. It's always worthwhile to tune in, whatever approach you're taking.
    Do you achieve that wavy hair by putting it in braids while it's still wet? Lots of small braids? I like it.

    • @stylerefinement
      @stylerefinement 2 дні тому +2

      I’ve been trying different sizes of braids and found that splitting the whole head into 4 sections gets me the size of waves I like the most! But French braids also work quite well ☺️
