    • @MyOnlineTrainingHub
      @MyOnlineTrainingHub  2 роки тому +3

      Hi Gordon, in that case you're filtering for dates that are equal to today OR less than or equal to today +60 days. So it'll be something like:
      ReminderDate/all (r: r eq 'formatDateTime(utcNow(),'yyyy-MM-dd') or r le 'formatDateTime(addDays(utcNow(),60),'yyyy-MM-dd') )
      That might need some tweaking as I'm not expert on ODATA functions. You can find out more here: docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/search/search-query-odata-logical-operators

      Ive found the problem!! When i created the "send email" i inserted inside the subject a variable from the Excel table, (the automation sends seperate emails to each vendor and i wanted the subject of each email to contain the vendor's name in each email difrently) that process created aditional loop, so when i romoved the vendor's name from the subject the loop was romoved and now the distinct adresses are working, but i still need to find a solution to put the specefic vendor name in each emai withot creating aditional loop...

      Great to hear, Brett. Similar to what I said to Gordon, you're filtering for dates that are equal to today OR less than or equal to today -7 days. So it'll be something like:
      ReminderDate/all (r: r eq 'formatDateTime(addDays(utcNow(),-7),'yyyy-MM-dd') or r le 'formatDateTime(utcNow(),'yyyy-MM-dd') )
      That might need some tweaking as I'm not expert on ODATA functions. You can find out more here: docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/search/search-query-odata-logical-operators

    Excellent tutorial! I would be curious though if there is a way for it to only send the email for a task once (i.e. such as a week before the due date, instead of every day leading up to it)? Also, what happens if you don't remove tasks from the list? Does it only pull from tasks that are after the current date?

    • @MyOnlineTrainingHub
      @MyOnlineTrainingHub  2 роки тому +2

      Thanks, Christopher! With the method I've shown it will only send it once, on the 'reminder date'. The process runs every day to pick up any new tasks that have a reminder date of today. If you don't remove tasks from the list it won't matter as it filters the list to display only those tasks that have a reminder date of today using the utcNow function.
