quick guide: don't be thinking you could change the zenons like on a normal car unless you are a 8 year old girl with small hands (or you are lucky to have an 8 yr old girl with small hands). Otherwise don't waste time and take the bumper off. Well not completely off, I did mine unclipping the bumper at the pointy ends and separating it from the arch liners only in order for it to un-clip to the sides, then pulling it towards the front and down just a bit so you can have access to the bottom bolts that hold the headlight in place :)
This guide and the bumper removal guide were a great help today. Bulbs changed to some cheap 5k ones as I'm not a huge fan of blue tinted lights, and I'm currently polishing the headlights while they're out of the car, and going to fit my fabia lip spoiler while the bumper's off too. Great videos, keep up the good work 👍
Thank you for your comment! I’m not a fan of the blue either will be going around 6k I think. Good idea my fabia splitter has held up well! Thanks for watching 🤙🏻
Agreed! at 4:30 touching the bulbs adds finger salts and oils from your skin which will damage the bulb and cause the heat to concentrate This can significantly reduce the life of the bulb or even worse cause it to shatter
@@jwmeale3058 Ye they look a bit too much BLUE but to be honest you didn't hold them or grab them for long so probably won't make much difference to their life.
Sorted vid as usual bud! Your igniters (black squares) the ballasts are the silver boxes under the headlights. went on a lot easier then mine ever did. Broke a headlight by trying to get the bulb to clip in. They say the best colour to go for is 6k its the brightest and whitest colour to go for if you are not bothered about the blue. Would be interesting to see if these are any brighter at night ?
Nice one m8, u make it look easy! 😀 I managed to change ours when they went pink on the one side, the left was worse than the right, I had to get my wife with smaller fingers to get in. My sausage fingers managed the right. So much easier than taking the bumper off for me. Cool vid for others 👍
Good work! Yeah I can see that it can be done with the bumper off. Just got to be careful with the ballast! Sausage fingers 😂😂 bet your wife felt the pressure!
Hope this video helps if the job ever needs to be done! Thanks for watching, if you could hit that LIKE I’d appreciate it as always 👍🏻👍🏻

I’ve got 8K in my headlights. (172) and they’re a great colour upgrade 👌🏽
Nice guide, rozzers will ave you for them though I reckon!
Thanks! Don’t think I’ll be keeping them they’re abit much for my liking.
One question are they legal? As I don't know very well legislation in UK , did you had any issue on MOT or with the police?
Nice job. Are u supposed to touch the new bulb with your fingers though? I know on halogen it reduces the life of the bulb

Ah never knew this! Thank you, tbh I don’t think I’m going to be keeping these. They’re abit much. So there life will be short 😂
Dont mean to be negative. Love the turbo work you've done. Was about to buy an r26 megane yesterday but chickened out!

@@fraserp8930 no don’t worry, it’s good from me to learn bud. Glad you mentioned it tbf for next time 🤙🏻 ah how come you didn’t go for it??
Buen tutorial mi duda es si no hubiese sido mejor ponerle las lamparas de Leds?🤔
