I swear this whiskey is for broke college guys like me. I drink for results gents, I don't care about the journey yet, just the destination.
I need something very cheap, but at the same time very smooth tomorrow. I think that one will do it :D

I used to get this at CVS for $10. But as cheap as it is, I don't drink this no more. Nothing to complain about! It did the job.
I'm 53. I remember when my parents had parties (every other week) and these black tubes were all over the place. BLACK VELVET 😊. Oh, and Baby Duck wine and stubby beer bottles.
Ashtrays in every room. Smoking in the house. Ahhhhh the good old days. I miss the 70s.
I use to sneak some of this from my Dad's booze shelf, cabinet, or whatever you wanna call it, when I was a teen. I guess it is good? I just remember the end result😂😂😂

I got a 1.75L for about $18 just now. Its my very first Whiskey and im really glad. It was a complete blind pick. I shoulda done more research before i bought my first bit of alcohol but im not gonna complain about this!
Smooth = subtle kick and minimal burn.
Jeez I paid $20 for this bottle a few nights ago, my 3rd night so far sippin on it after work and it's not bad tbh

$20? I don’t see it anywhere for more than $10-11. For $20, I can get way better stuff like Evan Williams or Jim Beam. At least you like it.

I use to drink it until they went to a plastic bottle.. Next it will come in a box.
I see it at our store in both plastic and glass.
These guys are goofy. Granola? Vanilla? I like Black Velvet. A bargain whiskey.
I asked my beautiful wife to please bring me home some Crown Royal.
Nothing happened.
So I gave her the cold shoulder for a few days.
This worked.
In a few more days I saw a large bottle of Black Velvet on the kitchen counter.
Not what I asked for.
Not what I expected.
I was pleasantly surprised how satisfied I was after partaking in 3 or 5 shots of this blended Canadian whiskey. Smooth, tasty, and nice.
Vanilla, cherry, coconut oak notes
and fast-acting. I wouldn't call this whiskey bottom shelf. Maybe middle shelf and reaching for the 🔝 top.
Cool, I used to drink that one all the time, but forgot about it 😅
This was my first whiskey. Goes well with coke. Drink by itself if you need to get a job done.
Yep coke is the perfect mixer for this drink 💯💯

Not quite IMO. They are both for mixing with something. Not sipping whiskeys at all.
This has been one of my least-favorite Canadian blended whiskies, so far.
