king is a king, who own a state or country. for sure king is rich and richer. you cannot compare with an ordinary people. He is giving a lot of good thing to his state. His state is the one of the most richest in Malaysia. He have a lot of contacts to do a business. Not like us. Do u think a prime minister or a president are not rich? We love our king as we know they are giving us a lot of good things and the most important think is a poltical stability.

The Sultan of Johor used to own Singapore and Riau Islands before the independence of the former and European colonialism of Malaya and Indonesia when Riau Islands became part of Indonesia. Most of the Johore Sultans are buried in Riau Islands in the former days or so history says.

The Sultanate of Johor has been there for centuries and they were engaged in business for a long time. This should not be compared with Mahathir Mohamad, the wealth he gained through public office.

Why she's reporting like a jealousy.. His Johor states used to be an empires that owned Singapore and parts of Indonesia before the colonial comes. Of course they going to be rich because they still owned some of the real estate mostly in Singapore.
when johor own singapore (temasek to be accurate) was just a swamp with no inhabitants and a wasteland at best
