One thing that makes this movie so much more fun, other than it being really good on its own, is the fact that you can just tell the cast had so much fun filming it.
I love the running gag that Hazel does not understand sarcasm cause when we hear “yeah let’s do terrorism” is obviously sarcastic but she was like hell yeah let’s do it.
OBSESSED with the immediate "hazel's hot" like hazel has a chokehold on everyone regardless of gender or sexuality. she is part of the reason i stopped identifying as a gay guy
Well that makes no sense, hazel appearance is masculine so of course you were attracted to her. That doesn't mean you're not gay lol It's the same as a straight guy being attracted to a feminine femboy
@@JJasmin2627 your point??? Me and my brother watched this together. We where rolling around wheezing from the foot ball players. Like my brother had to step out because he couldn't breathe. I almost passed out from laughing so much. The football players were in full pads for the entire movie, the football player in the cage during class, and the football players going out of their way to roll over the cars. It was amazing.
I’m five minutes in and brad thirsting over gorgeous women being gorgeous is such relatable content like this was my unlabelled arse not understanding my feelings for 8 years despite women being so damn CAPTIVATING
I really needed the positive vibes of your videos! After the day I had I just wanna say: to anyone who's ever been a victim of hate / violence because of their appearance, gender, orientation, race : DO NOT ever let a hateful notion 'there's something wrong with me' sink in. Trust me, it's a recipe for self hatred and compulsive anxieties later on. When we suffer and we need a break, it's only natural to think: maybe if I wasn't 'different', if I was 'normal' I would be accepted. No, haters will always find something else to prey upon. I've always had androgynous look, which was a real fuel for bullies when I was growing up. I embraced it, used it to my advantage in my acting / modeling career, I was almost the face of Leon in these new Resident Evil games :)
BRAAAD I need you to know that I've been trying to remember for years a song I used to listen to when I was young, but could not remember for the life of me the name of the song or the artist. When BOM BOM BOM came on I screamed! That's the song! I hope your pillows are always cold, your coffee is always the right amount of sweet and that your phone battery never runs out.
Charlie XCX also worked on the score for the film! Very cool for her to branch out in that way just because she wanted to collaborate with Emma/Rachel! 🥰
kinda crazy how Brad says this movie is so far from reality but when you think about it some of this crazy stuff can be translated perfectly to the reality of women. Like hazel getting kicked in the face that hard "isn't right" and over the top but i think it was a good choice because that's what it feels like to be a woman facing patriarchy, you're being gas lighted, told that you're not good enough and can't fend for yourself or what the teacher said "I knew women were evil"... this movie is so good at making you feel a lot of upset emotions like "wtf people shouldn't treat others like that" like yeah people wake up this is the reality for a lot of us! also how they address double standards is *chefskiss*
Speaking of Nicholas Galitzine, if you have not checked out the teaser trailer for Mary & George you definitely should. Not sure if he’s gay in it, but there’s definitely male on male stuff happening. It’s pretty steamy
Gay is relative in this. George's mother (Julianne Moore) uses him as her tool for titles, influence and social advancement, which means setting him up to seduce the King, James VI/I. In interview Galitzine has said his character seduces 14 men and women as his mother uses him to power her way to the top. Real life history dramatised.
brad omg this video was amazing on its own but the editing had me in tears and cackling you're fr one of the best creators right now ty for all that u do :))
if you wanna see Nicholas Galitzine {prince henry in rwrb/jeff in this movie} in ANOTHER gay film where he's a gay guy, watch Handsome Devil. I watched it ages ago before he blew up in acting. It's a really good movie and the main guy is an out and proud irish guy {from what I remember} and they all go to boarding school. Highly suggest. Not even just for Brad {if he even sees this} but for anyone who likes the actor or more queer films. It also has Andrew Scott in it from Fleabag and Sherlock
In Red, White & Royal Blue, Henry was played by Nicholas Galitzine (Gal-it-zeen) and the lovely Alex (I believe your favorite) was played by Taylor Zakhar Perez. 😘 I know you're a busy young man (you looked spectacular in this reaction, by the way) but you might want to react to the teaser trailer for Mary & George, a 7-part miniseries coming in 2024 and starring Julianne Moore, Tony Curran, and the beautiful Nicholas Galitzine (who plays George, tasked with seducing King James I). Yum!
You definitely have to react to "The Birdcage"! It's a 90's movie starring Robin Williams and Nathan Lane as a gay couple who have to pass as straight and it is one of the funniest movies I've ever seen! It is camp, and cunt, and color all the way.
It is also a take on the wonderful gay with heart musical La Cage Aux Folles. Also worth a look. Or even better, to see on stage. Famous song from it, I Am What I Am.
