Best performance of Ravel's Pavane that I've ever heard. Absolutely beautiful.

I first heard this piece when I sought it out after reading a child's book in which the story featured. There is was heard over open water as a tune of grief for a forgotten child. Now, seeking a great version to incorporate into the playlist of my life for my funeral, I have chosen your truly beautiful presentation. You capture the sadness of a life ended to soon but the last notes of hope and the joy of memory - through which those we truly love are not lost. Well done!

Emozionante come solo pochi sanno esserlo. Mi sento veramente fortunato ad aver avuto la possibilità di ascoltarti dal vivo quest'estate, e posso dire che è stato ancora più toccante. Quando ci penso ho ancora i brividi.... immenso Taballione!!!

Thank you so very much for this heart-felt performance. I'm trying to get this right for me and your performance is inspirational. Although I hope to get my tone almost as good as yours, the big challenge for me is the phrasing and you've really brought this piece alive for me. I cannot thank you enough. Gratefully, from an old man learning flute.

I was searching for flute and piano versions of this and found your recording. I am a piano teacher and I perform with a flutist. This is one of the best interpretations I have heard of this piece, thank you ! Where do you regularly perform?

Nice playing Parrucci but your slanted down hold on the flute is a little frustrating to watch.

I play the flute --- what is a "slanted down hold"?

Smood47 Surely he’s not the only flautist you’ve seen hold the flute like this. You need to get use to it. Many experienced players slant the flute but it doesn’t affect their sound. He’s not in a marching band so there’s no need to hold the flute upright. Of course you wouldn’t encourage a beginner to hold their flute in this way as it would interfere with their sound.

@@mariadavis8745 I know, right? What's the problem with that? Being very picky, if you ask me. Didn't bother me at all!

To... watch?!?!? What we are talking about? Music is an auditory art not a visual one. And what you listen to hear is the most incredible accurate and at the same time free - controlled and at the same time dreamed sound you can ever here coming out from a flute... basically a metal tube.
