Air source Heat pump £7500 grant available now! Boiler Upgrade Scheme

BREAKING NEWS! The government subsidy for a heat pump (Boiler Upgrade Scheme) has gone up from £5,000 to £7,500. This means a huge cut in the cost of a heat pump through Clean Heat Streets. It will now be able to install a heat pump for less than a gas boiler.
Rose Hill Oxford :
On Sat 2 September, homes in Spencer Crescent, Asquith Road and Hunsdon Road opened up to demonstrate working heat pumps installed by the Clean Heat Streets project. 5 heat pumps have now been installed in Rose Hill and Iffley and 28 houses have had their free surveys. The next heat pump open day will be on Saturday 28 October. Save the date! Addresses TBC.

Tosh ! I bet the quotes magically increase £2,500. Sharks who fit them put up quotes by £5000 when grant first introduced. Wouldn’t touch the companies who fit them or the technology that isn’t fit for retro fit to older houses.
