OMG! I really loved the details like the salt spilled, the black cat and the owl, despite all those warning signs, she avoids the signs like throwing salt over her shoulder then she gives her heart to the wrong person.

This band is seriously underrated... and particularly the Singer. Her voice is unique and powerful. Definitely not a generic symphonic female metal voice. She's a bit ''screechy'' and it suits SO well the music

It was quite a challenge filming the scene with the cat, actually, haha! We tried filming it as fast as possible, within 15 minutes. She did amazing, didn't she?

Technically it is not considered as metal tho , there was some kind of rock music type something like hairy rock or smthng where the background was casual rock but the vocals are high tones not normal but high tones so my pal it is not considered as metal.

Depends on the cat. My cat, Ragnar, is very careful to avoid knocking stuff over. Granted, I think he does that because sudden noises and movements startle him rather then any particular consideration for the items or me, but the result is agreeable. He's sweet and handsome, but a scaredy cat (though he is my sweet hairball and I love him to bits).

Lol, the early 1900's would be Edwardian. That was Colonial era costume (though the part of me that watches heaps of clothes historians got a little crazy over the lack of historical undergarments).

Blackbriar definitively took a level in badass and grimness. This album is great.
And the acting is brilliant. Zora dancing before cutting her own flesh is just surreal and oddly enthralling, in a higher level than what we could have seen in precedent clips.
And the lyrics are great. And considering the tone of the band, I still can't decide between the pure allegory or a litteral surnatural fact, at some point.

Blackbriar puts so much thought into their videos. On Zora's Patreon she shows us things like selecting outfits and finding locations. They were originally going to do this one somewhere else but decided this was a better location.
But they are still so underrated i mean look at the vocals they deserve way more better than this
@@defne3802 Part of what I think makes Blackbriar so good is that they are a completely independent band and as such don't have to compromise. Zora actually is very reasonable and does take advice from people she knows and trusts, but the end result is always something she loves not what someone else tells her will sell. Unfortunately that means they don't have any big corporations doing marketing for them... so I feel like that is something their fans have to help with. (That is part of the reason I am in these comments so often... but of anyone has any suggestions on how to get the word out...)

Why are they so underrated??
As an independent band, they don't have access to all the marketing the labels have, so they rely on people like us! Let's all do our best to spread the word. I love that they are independent. It lets them produce the music they want and we love instead of what the labels say is profitable!
As a musician and “almost ex-metalhead” 😄 can say I am very, very surprised by Blackbriar. Today are not many bands that can really impress me by their music - lyrics and melody in general. And I’m not sure of the real reason behind this. But I was listening this band over and over, for couple of years, and surely can say I really love it. The mood and color of songs and lyrics. I see this band only growing. My only wish is that You guys never lose your current soul - it beautiful, it’s somewhat unique. Nicely done, thank You🖤🖤🖤🤘
