ta6 is very much a love or hate type book. i personally loved it but that’s probably because i don’t mind it when nothing happens in books. i just found the characters so interesting and wanted to know more about them
i thought they were too but i think the lack of certain characters turned me off i guess - especially starting with libby and nico, i would have been ok if they whole book was just them hahaha but then i felt like it was the parisia show for the rest of the book :/
@@caricanread i totally agree!! I wanted more insight on Reina and Nico, the whole book was about Parisa 😭✋🏼 not that there’s anything wrong with that but I wanna know more about the other characters, like c’mon!! Also about them hating libby was unclear to me. Atleast have a good reason to hate her, idk whether i liked it or not honestly lmao
I LOVED the premise of The Atlas Six. I was so excited by the idea of it, I wanted to enjoy it so badly because the idea of the Library of Alexandria + magic was just amazing to me and my childhood nostalgia of ancient Egypt. But I almost DNFed it and the only reason I didn't was out of sheer stubbornness. I agree: nothing really happened in the book. They talked about a lot of stuff happening, but they didn't really do much, and I found myself slogging through the dialogue wishing for more action. It felt like the set-up book, which makes me think that the sequel has to be more plot-driven, but the first book didn't make me want to read the second. And that plot twist really hurt. It came out of NOWHERE. I kept thinking back through the book thinking, "How could I have possibly seen this coming?" and the answer was that I couldn't have because there wasn't really any foreshadowing besides lack of appearances at certain times. It was my least favorite kind of plot twist and contributed to my lingering feelings of "Meh, don't really wanna continue." Which really sucks because the idea was AMAZING and I wanted to like it SO BADLY.
I had to DNF The Atlas Six. There was v little plot for me and I can’t wait till the last pages for something to happen. To me at least, it felt drawn out and almost pretentious (maybe convoluted is a better word) in the way it was written. The magic system seemed cool but also some grey areas when it came magic and science and all those long passages. The book did teach me that I personally need both plot and character development balance. If you’re someone who loves characters..The Atlas Six would be a good book!!
I'm a character driven reader and I haaaaaaaated Atlas 6. It's just a bunch of moody 20-somethings locked up in a house together spewing dry-ass drivel for 400 pages.
Thank you. I could just not get into it (okay the rest of this is just my opinion and just me being a little brat). I found the most of characters really pretentious (and like not in a fun way) and the whole thing felt so slow and just so extremely tiring
the atlas six was SO hard to read omg ,,I was questioning my english skills after rereading some sentences for the 5th time and still not getting them :))) but i really liked the characters, especially nico and tristan. I was also sad about the fact that we didn't get much about all the..."secrets and information" and stuff that is inside that library lmao because at the beginning that was my main reason to even start the book :') but yea I absolutely loved (most) of the characters so I'll definitely read the second book for them
Cari you're definitely my comfort youtuber and the scenery was *chef's kiss* I was seriously considering starting The Atlas Six yesterday but I'm unsure because I don't get that much time to read anymore & I wanna read a book I'll love, so this video came right on time
i just finished ta6 and honestly idk if i should recommend it or not, like cari mentioned, IT’S JUST A LOT OF WORDS LMAO! I didn’t feel nothing while reading, and ik that sounds weird but really, i felt no sadness/ happiness/ butterflies/ curiosity etcc as much as I expected to be. Kinda got bored ngl, but then i didn’t hate it either 😭😭so yeah. It’s a very confusing feeling lmao
Fun fact, I also felt characters like Callum and Parisa had much more story parts than Nico. So I finished it and counted all the chapters, they actually have the same amount of chapter in their perspective! Olivie's style of writing is kinda just spilling words and knowledge, I deduce that even Olivie herself don't have that much to say about Nico, or she is reserving it for the second book. Ugh I love love the setting and the smartness in The Atlas Six, but I just wished there can be an actual plot going on, not just the six of them wander around and we read their thoughts. I did hear that this one is supposed to be a "building" book and then the sequel will have more active plot, but I really don't know. I read another book of her called "Alone with you in the ether", and it has the exact same problem. Brilliant concept, messy execution. Still I love Olivie's "philosophy" that she put in her book and the way she portrayed sexy scenes, so I really hope the sequel coming next year or this year will have improvements
I felt like reina also was under utilized. I really liked Nico but he kind of got left behind because his personality wasn't as strong as callum, Parisa or libby.
@@Theblondebass1 Yeh. And also in Reina's chapter, we saw the stuff she thinks about other, and not actually herself and her power. I loved the little scenes where she communicates with her plants, really wished to see that more
@27:26 THANK YOU for articulating this!!! I have been trying for so long to explain why I hate out-of-the-blue twists, and that's it, exactly! I feel like I should warn you that The Atlas Six was confirmed to be a trilogy by the author, not a duology. Lol I know how you feel about books that were supposed to be duologies but ended up being a trilogy😅
The background, the outfit, books, the autumn vibesss 🍂🍁 Just chef kiss!! It felt like I was having a conversation with a friend in the park about books. Love it!!

WOW this is the earliest I've ever watched!! Hi Cari!!! 💜💜 Your recommendations really shape the books I try out (and end up finishing!!). So excited to see all your October recs!!
Yess!! Sky in the Deep!! 😍 It's one of my favorite duologies, I'd definitely recommend that you read the second installment, Cari - it's got a completely different feel to it, and the main male character is Halvard from the first book; but he's all grown up and falls in love with some kind of priestess woman haha! I love the girl-power in the series...Adrienne writes some of the best female protagonists, imo! ❤
Man Cari is the only person on the planet Earth who can have my full attention for the whole 30 minutes while just sitting down & talking about monthly reads 🤚😌
I don't why but you give me vibes of an english teacher, it's a compliment:) about atlas six i feel forced to say that i liked but honestly maybe i'm not smart enough for that type of deep conversations they had in the book and they were kinda overwhelming. I recommend you to read Outlander series, you remind me Briana Fraser, and I think the books give me a lot autumnal vibes
I hope you end up liking Once and Future Witches! That book was written by a good friend of my cousin, so it's super fun to hear when people read it! Also gotta recommend Ten Thousand Doors of January too!
Hi Cari- I don't comment a lot, but I just wanted to let you know that I absolutely love you and your channel! I've found so many amazing books because of you and you've helped me out of so many reading slumps and this channel's aesthetic is just immaculate. So, thank you so much and keep making all this amazing content!
I felt like the other characters hated Libby due to her being so insecure but still getting picked to be in the final 6? Imo they just didn't like that someone they clearly thought was inferior to them (but honestly has the potential to be better than all of them) got the same opportunity as them and that honestly made me root for her even more. I gotta say tho as a non english native speaker... man was that book hard to read.
I also grew to really dislike the one character in The Atlas Six. Generally, the Femme Fatale type character is really easy to make over-bearing, and this book landed there for me personally.
Loved the aesthetics of this video so so much. The leaves, the rustling sounds, the cute doggos, the food on the bicycle...and you look so beautiful and autumnal. 🧡
Gosh that was such a lovely setting to watch while you talk about books - the leaves, the corgi!, just everything. I've been sick this week and so sad I can't go running around in autumn leaves, so this cheered me up a bit, thank you :) I added almost all of the books on my TBR list, jeez, when will I read them all? Once and Future Witches are already on my TBR and I was supposed to read them in October but didn't get to. Maybe this month. Looking forward to finding out how you found the book in a future log, hopefully!
Loved the ~vibes~ in this, but I would say to not let her review of The Hazelwood turn you off from reading it! Its a favorite for both my sister and I, and has SUCH strong atmospheres in it!
i LOVED vespertine. i mean i love everything that margaret rogerson writes so i wasnt surprised. so happy that i was introduced to her through you! i now reread enchantment of ravens and sorcery of thorns whenever im in a reading slump and need a pick me up. also laughing so hard at "climb the corporate ladder of the nunnery "comment XD
Liane Moriarty is a BEAST shuffling timeframes and how she fragments them as stilistic devices - it also feels so easy?? Like, I always fall straight into her stories and I enjoy this process so much that I sometimes don't even really care for the story outcome, because thank you for THAT ride lmao
oh i definitely agree with your thoughts on the atlas six! i found the pacing very odd but loved the writing style-- people prolly found wordy which i understand but i think it made me like the book more? if that makes sense. the philosophical theories got quite repetitive too haha. im probably gonna read the re-published version around when the sequel comes out... atlas six just missed a lot of potential imo and im really sorry but you look like a weather reporter with that background looking very green screen like and your outfit just adds more on to it fbjkdsn xD
I watch your videos and then add them to my TBR. Then I go to my libby app and borrow or place them on hold. That way I can read them and return them to the library and I'm not breaking the bank buying all my books! 😂 Also, the fall vibes are nice!
Okay so two things: completely agree on TA6, it was difficult to read and it was centered around a character that I just felt “meh” towards. I’m barely halfway through the book because it’s so WORDY. It personally seemed to me that half the sentences could have been edited down. And The Hazel Wood’s second book (The Night County) features a MUCH stronger Alice, she’s making decisions, she’s figuring out the problems as they come. That was a more satisfying read for me.
Thanks Cari! 😊 Happy you changed your mind about Verspertine. As you, I love Margaret's writing and though I missed some of the romance there, it kinda fit better without it. Hope there will be second part! Greetings from Netherlands! 😉🤗
I loved enjoying this fall moment in the park! The corgi finally walked through the background and I was like eeee 😂 Now I'm going to take myself out into the beautiful fall day, thanks for the inspo!
Perfect setting! Thanks for being brave and taking us outside! All I’ve heard about Atlas Six is “why did I spend time with that?” Vibe - definitely will wait. Alix Harrow was a Knock it out of the park enjoyable read with Ten Thousand Doors of January. Not one has been since. I think once and future is okay, splinter spindle is just plain boring… don’t know if I’ll pick her up to read again. Also - - 🙋🏻♀️ corgi mama right here! We follow Finn on Instagram too! 😊
This was so so beautiful! I was also distracted by the leaves, the pigeons, the dogs, and had to replay some parts multiple times, hehe. It was especially funny when the lady passing behind you gave you a look, and there you were sitting alone in the forest, talking to yourself, and talking about a dead body at that!🤣🍂🐶 I hope you can do this in spring too (I was about to type 'winter' here but then I remembered it snows in Seoul. I don't want you to become a⛄).💕
hey cari i am requesting you to make a video about the most beautiful books you've ever read (story + writing wise). i read sweet bean paste & cerulean sea because of your rec and loved it so much. so, I trust your recs 10/10. especially since winter is approaching people should be looking for warm, heartwarming reads i think(?). anyway absolutely love the vibe of this video ❤️
I read 11 books in October but I dnf'd at least 7, I was kinda slumpy. I'm planning to get to The Atlas Six soon, after hearing you now I'm sensing another dnf'd...🤔. The Once and Future witches was a 5🌟, her debut novel The Ten Thousand Doors of January, also 5 🌟; however, not everyone liked her books because they're heavy on the historical fiction content, I wouldn't say she writes pure fantasy
@@caricanread Thank you. I'll try, hopefully I get to reading again soon. Thanks to you I want to read so much more but it takes me ages to finish just a single book. But I guess when the kids are a bit older it will get better😄. I hope you will have the best day today!
wow cari i am closing my eyes and pretending i am in that park with you right now!! a dream!!! i’m glad you’re getting to enjoy that autumn weather. in a mary oliver poem she says this of autumn- “the exquisite, necessary diminishing” which i love. sorry your reading month has been only so so. 😔 here’s hoping november is better! i read my first agatha christie this month, and then there were none, and i loved it! also read if we were villains which hit me right in my theater kid heart. 💘 read the picture of dorian gray too and understood why it’s a classic! i’m currently reading a marvellous light by freya marske and enjoying it! i’ll probably read the binding per your recommendation this month 👍🏻 it’s on hold that keanu reeves book sounds like a fun wild ride that i hope you enjoy!
I think she tried to hint at the end, or at least give us an idea of what was possible when more details about Tristan’s abilities came out, and when he sees Ezra (I think that’s the dude name? Don’t remember) in that one specific scene and we realize right then that (insert spoilery word here) is possible. But I do agree it was a little startling and there was little to no way for us to have figured it out. But then again, I hate when endings are too easy to guess.
I mean the second that weird “intermission” chapter happened we could guess a huge portion of the ending hahah i was just like…give us at least teeny tiny hints 😭😅
Everything I loved about The Atlas Six were things you did not vibe with, and that’s fair. I wish you would post a full review of the book cause I am interested in your thoughts about the ending! Personally, it did give me whiplash, however I was too emotionally invested in Nico and Libby’s partnership to do anything other than go “Oh my god, who CARES? Save my child!” Hopefully book 2 does give more focus on Nico and Reina, or at least balances out the POVs. Also, yes to more opinionated reviews! You’ve yet to lead me astray.
I finished "The Witch Haven" after all. It was alright. The later 1/3 was actually not so bad. A few things didnt quite add up. Specifically concerning historical reality. I liked the "villain"... more than the heroine. He was flawed in a human sort of way... don't know if the heroine wasn't even more flawed though. She made SO MANY bad choices. Surprised everybody loved her anyway 🤦♀️ in the story. I didnt love her 😔
I want to read Atlas Six, too. But will have to wait until its "official release" and hence audio-book creation, which will be next year, I guess. How was this released on TicToc? Sorry I don't know what that means "TicToc-sensation" 😅
English isn’t my first language but I am pretty good at English. I mean i can speak and read English but The Atlas six made question that can I even understand English!? I had to google so many words.
I just finished Rivers of London by Ben Aaronovitch. It’s urban fantasy but not YA. I really enjoyed it and would recommend it if you love stories set in London. Can also highly recommend using the audiobook because the voice actor’s voice is *chef’s kiss* Edit: I’ll be interested to hear what you think of Once and Future Witches - I have that book sitting in my TBR pile
You have to be some kind of blessed, the amount of corgi sightings in your life is unnaturally high 🤔 & I feel the same about reading a lot of meh-books recently but read The Darkness Outside Us last month which blew my mind, so recommend 100%
AAAAAAAAAH the autumn... I finished reading Small Spaces, middle grade horror, now I'm trying to read Arden Powel's The Faerie Hounds of York but I don't think I'm the target audience, also _trying_ because anime has taken over my life once again. Can't wait for winter though I got better winter books both new and rereads.
Don't know if I'm the only one, but The Atlas Six reminded me so much of another book called Ink and Bone by Rachel Caine. I haven't read Atlas Six but just by the description on this video it's practically identical, in the sense of world building. Please is there anyone here that knows about The Great Library series by Rachel Caine? Ink and Bone is the first book, they're five in total.
Just found this video and comment coming from another of Cari's videos. I just finished the first book - Ink and Bone and as soon as she started talking about the plot of The Atlas Six I stopped in my tracks and was like... wait... what? this book was ALREADY written by someone else.
I don’t now if you have read these but I’m gonna recommend these books anyway, A semi definite list of worst nightmares & our chemical hearts by Krystal Sutherland are one of my favorite books and I wud enjoy hearing you talk about the air awakens series
ta6 was a fun read for me just because olivie blake's writing is immaculate, but when I look back on it, I realize that nothing really happened like, at all? even outside of the plot and just in terms of development it still came out empty despite feeling like such a long book. outside of libby breaking out of her comfort zone and breaking up with her long-term boyfriend, the characters mostly just stayed static and I usually don't have much of a problem with that if the characters were explored well (the only example I can think of rn is inej from soc. out of all of them, she's the one with the least "moved" arc from all of them because she didn't need to change that much from the very beginning anyway, but her character was still explored really well that we know her beyond just being "the sensible one who throws knives but has the biggest moral compass") but in ta6, we spent so much time with the characters where nothing happened at all and yet I still feel like I can not describe them beyond the archetypes they represent. parisa is the beautiful seductress. she's powerful and manipulative. callum is the rich douchebag. he's powerful and manipulative. tristan is the underdog. reina is... just there. nico is a good friend and he's libby's half? (I don't have much to say about nico because he and reina got the shortest end of the draw, but he and libby were the most interesting characters for me. they're also my faves). libby was the most explored one, I think, despite not seeming to have as much focus as parisa, because we see a lot of her in action and also through the other characters' perspectives. they do talk about her A LOT despite claiming to find her annoying. she's also the most nuanced out of all of them, I think? with nico, she's fiery and explosive. when they arrive at the house for the first time, she's the meek teacher's pet type, but we soon learn that she and nico are actually the most powerful ones of them all. over the course of the book, she explores a lot of herself and what she can do. I just love her so much and yes, like you, I wouldn't have complained either if the whole book was just about libby and nico. I hope you'll check out the newly revised and professionally edited version of ta6 when it comes out. I'm always eager to hear what you have to say about books.
If you like kinda messing with timelines (not quite as much as you were talking about), Songs of the Humpback Whale by Jodi Picoult (who I know isn't everyone's favorite) is decent.
Loved Kingdom of the Cursed. Wrath is up there with the best. But there should have been one more chapter. The Last Graduate and Witch Haven are really good
I almost bought the Atlas six because it was on sale but I am kinda glad I didn’t because that type of book isn’t for me. I like books like The Sunbearer trails or Percy Jackson because they are just more interesting in what details they focus on in my eyes and I love books that pick up the pace a bit quicker, not drawn out and in a way only good things happen at the end.
I LUV LUV LUV THIS ATMOSPHEREEEEE
Her aesthetics and ambiance ESPECIALLY her vlogs are goals 😍

I also grew to really dislike the one character in The Atlas Six. Generally, the Femme Fatale type character is really easy to make over-bearing, and this book landed there for me personally.
the fall vibes are immaculate
Cari is so sweet that she she even can't even say she didn't like The Atlas Six because she just didn't want anyone's feelings to het hurt
Watching Cari's book channel videos is like talking with your big sister who who just got home from a long travel trip
Ahaha, best wrap-up so far! You being distracted by leaves and dogs, and food, and people is so endearing 🥰
17:50 LMAO
Thanks for the great reviews (and in the park with Corgi's? Perfection!)
Looking forward to finding out how you found the book in a future log, hopefully!
hope you're feeling better!! get the autumn feels with a good cup of tea :')
@@caricanread Definitely lots and lots of tea! Thank you :))
Loved the ~vibes~ in this, but I would say to not let her review of The Hazelwood turn you off from reading it! Its a favorite for both my sister and I, and has SUCH strong atmospheres in it!
Great to hear your thoughts on Atlas Six. Just finished it today. I like the way you present your ideas.
i LOVED vespertine. i mean i love everything that margaret rogerson writes so i wasnt surprised. so happy that i was introduced to her through you! i now reread enchantment of ravens and sorcery of thorns whenever im in a reading slump and need a pick me up. also laughing so hard at "climb the corporate ladder of the nunnery "comment XD
The place looks so good!!! And it feels like its a zoom background. Its so pretty!!!!!!😭😭😭😍😍😍😍
1st cup of coffee and cari's vlogs are my after-festive favs
I agree, the Kingdom Series gets better with each book. I can’t wait for the next one!
okay all wrap up's should be outside at the park now this was so lovely!! cari's just the best
Lovin this autumn weather and outfit. I’m so jealous you still have fall there. We are officially in winter here with cold and frost.
oh i definitely agree with your thoughts on the atlas six! i found the pacing very odd but loved the writing style-- people prolly found wordy which i understand but i think it made me like the book more? if that makes sense. the philosophical theories got quite repetitive too haha. im probably gonna read the re-published version around when the sequel comes out... atlas six just missed a lot of potential imo
and im really sorry but you look like a weather reporter with that background looking very green screen like and your outfit just adds more on to it fbjkdsn xD
i found that i loved the writing in some chapters and in others i was like...lets calm down hahha and yeah i agree, the potential was so great :'(
This setting is GORGEOUS and I love your outfit! so classic and chic.
the aesthetic of this video is just magical :)
the vibes are -as usual- IMPECCABLE!!!!
I watch your videos and then add them to my TBR. Then I go to my libby app and borrow or place them on hold. That way I can read them and return them to the library and I'm not breaking the bank buying all my books! 😂 Also, the fall vibes are nice!
yessss libby literally changed my life!
I know that Cari is pretty but the background make her look stunningly beautiful! You are amazing Cari. Keep it up! 👍
The setting was beautiful!!.. I actually felt like I was sitting next to you!!... Loved it!!
This ambience is everything
It was especially funny when the lady passing behind you gave you a look, and there you were sitting alone in the forest, talking to yourself, and talking about a dead body at that!🤣🍂🐶
I hope you can do this in spring too (I was about to type 'winter' here but then I remembered it snows in Seoul.
I love your vlogs! The vibes are fantastic 👌
What a picturesque vlog! Made some hot chocolate to join in on the vibes haha
Love your outfit! And a cool mask btw
thank you!
The autumn trees looks so pretty! Very aesthetic😁🦋
This time I could see you with sleeping an not sick kids. Loved the park and you just looked so lovely. 💜
get yourself some well deserved rest!! 🧡
💘 read the picture of dorian gray too and understood why it’s a classic!
i’m currently reading a marvellous light by freya marske and enjoying it!
i’ll probably read the binding per your recommendation this month 👍🏻 it’s on hold
that keanu reeves book sounds like a fun wild ride that i hope you enjoy!
omg it sounds like you're having an amazing reading month! i would love to read any then there were none again for the first time heheheh
All my inner magpie can focus on is the cup sleeve… I want it
I tell a lie I also want your earrings
hehehehe
Ahhaha I love how you just went “can you guys keep it down” to the pigeons
I think she tried to hint at the end, or at least give us an idea of what was possible when more details about Tristan’s abilities came out, and when he sees Ezra (I think that’s the dude name? Don’t remember) in that one specific scene and we realize right then that (insert spoilery word here) is possible.
But I do agree it was a little startling and there was little to no way for us to have figured it out. But then again, I hate when endings are too easy to guess.
I mean the second that weird “intermission” chapter happened we could guess a huge portion of the ending hahah i was just like…give us at least teeny tiny hints 😭😅
@@caricanread Yeah, it’s super frustrating when they just pull it out of nowhere and give us nothing to go on😅 But overall for me I really enjoyed it!
you HAVE to read Letters to the Lost and More Than We Can Tell by Brigid Kemmerer. my two fave books ever. they're sooooo good
Everything I loved about The Atlas Six were things you did not vibe with, and that’s fair.
You’ve yet to lead me astray.
those park looks like zoom background for a sec, it's so pretty almost can't believe it was real
Not about books but I wanted to say that your coat looks very pretty on you!✨💕
The vibes are immaculate (also! just so you know, the atlas six is actually going to be a trilogy, not a duology!)
I just realized we must have similar timezones because I live in Singapore, insane
Amazing video
Sorry I don't know what that means "TicToc-sensation" 😅
i enjoyed Atlas Six sm but it definitely fried my brain
bahahah indeed
English isn’t my first language but I am pretty good at English. I mean i can speak and read English but The Atlas six made question that can I even understand English!? I had to google so many words.
Lmaoooo same here🤡
I just finished Rivers of London by Ben Aaronovitch. It’s urban fantasy but not YA. I really enjoyed it and would recommend it if you love stories set in London. Can also highly recommend using the audiobook because the voice actor’s voice is *chef’s kiss*
Edit: I’ll be interested to hear what you think of Once and Future Witches - I have that book sitting in my TBR pile
You have to be some kind of blessed, the amount of corgi sightings in your life is unnaturally high 🤔
& I feel the same about reading a lot of meh-books recently but read The Darkness Outside Us last month which blew my mind, so recommend 100%
You're so right about everyone hating libby for no reason. It wasn't demonstrated that she was annoying, they just told us she was
such a beautiful video ! x
Love the setting!
Love this video and your honesty please stay safe and enjoy your reading 📖
I don’t now if you have read these but I’m gonna recommend these books anyway, A semi definite list of worst nightmares & our chemical hearts by Krystal Sutherland are one of my favorite books and I wud enjoy hearing you talk about the air awakens series
Sky in the Deep 😍🥰 It is a standalone yes, The Girl the Sea Gave Back is a compagnion novel 😊 Love the aesthetics of this video 🤗
ta6 was a fun read for me just because olivie blake's writing is immaculate, but when I look back on it, I realize that nothing really happened like, at all? even outside of the plot and just in terms of development it still came out empty despite feeling like such a long book. outside of libby breaking out of her comfort zone and breaking up with her long-term boyfriend, the characters mostly just stayed static and I usually don't have much of a problem with that if the characters were explored well
(the only example I can think of rn is inej from soc. out of all of them, she's the one with the least "moved" arc from all of them because she didn't need to change that much from the very beginning anyway, but her character was still explored really well that we know her beyond just being "the sensible one who throws knives but has the biggest moral compass")
but in ta6, we spent so much time with the characters where nothing happened at all and yet I still feel like I can not describe them beyond the archetypes they represent. parisa is the beautiful seductress. she's powerful and manipulative. callum is the rich douchebag. he's powerful and manipulative. tristan is the underdog. reina is... just there. nico is a good friend and he's libby's half?
If you like kinda messing with timelines (not quite as much as you were talking about), Songs of the Humpback Whale by Jodi Picoult (who I know isn't everyone's favorite) is decent.
i will look it up!
Loved Kingdom of the Cursed. Wrath is up there with the best. But there should have been one more chapter. The Last Graduate and Witch Haven are really good
Adding more books to my tbr and the word "Celtic" to the 'list of words in English that I was reading wrong all this time"!
haha I got a book of the month ad before this video that happens to also be sponsored by it!
