- Putting God First in your Life & Business | What I learned from trying to do business on my own
When business opportunities and entrepreneurial opportunities, whether they are small business opportunities or new business opportunities, it can be easy to get so focused on them that you fail to make time for God within your business.
Forgetting to put God first in everything you do, can be detrimental to your mental and business health. For me, I hit a wall.. face first and realized why I was in such a funk. Me striving was doing no good and helpful no one. For this reason here are some quick reminders from me to you:
always put god first
put God in the center of your life
put God first in your life
put God first and everything else will follow
put first the kingdom of God

I relate to this! It even got to the point where I felt guilty for resting because I felt there was so much to do.
But God helped me understand being able to rest is a gift. When we rest we allow Him to do what only He can do

Fr fr this video was confirmation for me. I’m in the beauty space and as a Christian wasn’t sure how to incorporate him. Or even if I should because I didn’t want to turn people away. I also struggled with knowing if he was even calling me because beauty is “vain”. But this week I realized that there are several women I admire and what I admire about them is there level of faith AND their business. They don’t leave their faith to be successful. So I’m so happy I came across this. It confirmed to me what God spoke to me this week which is, “take me with you”. In every space, every room. I am taking the love of Christ with me and will NOT be shy about it.
Keep coming with the content sis. I also subscribed to you for their same reason. You were about your business but you were also a Christian. The Blessed is Bossed up podcast by Tatum Temia is also a great resource for all things business and God. She teaches women how to make God the CEO of their business.

I love this so much, I’ve always had a desire to have my own business since I can remember, and now that I’m a believer it’s became even stronger of that desire but to do it with God as my business partner

This was so good!! I struggled with this so bad that I actually stepped away from my business for a minute. I didn’t know how to have both.
This is definitely real talk. Sometimes I have to catch myself to make sure I always honor God in what I do business wise. It's a struggle but God wants us to lean on Him, even in business.
My whole day today I felt so overwhelmed and worked up and I prayed to God for guidance and I found this video and it really touched me and was a wake up call

I am in this place of anxiety and shame in front of GOD and I am panicking. I have spent my whole life as a striver and it has become my peace but now that my efforts have been dismissed and disrespected I am in a depressing place of not trusting myself and now that I have been baptized an come to GOD it has gotten worse and im trying to figure out how to exist in this time. This video has helped.
This is me currently. I'm trying to figure out what the next move is going to be. I definitely need to work on my relationship with God because I feel like he has been speaking to me. I started working on my business the beginning of 2022. I was working my 9 to 5pm, and then coming home and working on my business. It was to much and I was burned out by the summer. I didn't want to do anything, and I felt guilty for wanting to rest.
yes! I swear when you were talking about how it seemed like God was moving to slow was for me. Cause im just starting out and im not getting anywhere and im stressing and doubting and why dont i have subscribers God and why hasnt anything sold and i realize now that when its Gods time even if its not mine. Wow 😂I’m currently learning this. He had me fooled into believing working like a maniac was the way to fulfill my purpose with my business, until I started hating it and had no love or desire for it anymore. And I was confused. Wondering why God was letting this happen to me. I was letting it happen to myself. I was not putting in work to get to know God. I couldn’t even see what I was doing couldve never been God’s will. Not sleeping or eating for the sake of work? 😂 I was deceived with my own talents and skills which God blessed me with.

Love this! I've been in the same space (a few times lol) and ALSO just started reading Atomic Habits to try to be more consistent with everything in my life. I felt like as I've been trying to do everything on my own, it's definitely caused me to get stuck and feel less clear on what steps I'm called to take so, in this season, I'm just choosing to really lean in and allow God to lead and shine. Talk to God about your business coz he is the one who gave you the idea, the business or the vision, don't try to do it all by yourself- don't think God is slow, allow God to guide you. Pray and fast over your business and seek to know how you will partner with God in this business. Don't be deceived about being busy remember if the devil cannot distract you he will keep you busy. Surrender and allow God to steer you and the business

Thank you for sharing this. I can relate to this as well. God is the center of my business but as I am beginning to share what I do more publicly, sometimes I think should I pull back a little. Then, I think no. I need to be true to myself and boldly speak about God and give glory to Him. Also, I need to make sure I have daily, quality time with God.
