Thanks for those videos. Its frustrating. They need to update it and fix the iron on when powering on. It also sounds like it have cancer, can they make it sound like the legend?
Yes the mineralization bar does indicate there is a presence of minerals. The mineral bars do not work that great on telling the concentration of minerals. Every ground is different. When the ground is dry, the mineral meter reads lower than if it is wet.
@@PaystreakSuperfreak Ok. So Ive had this problem since i bought this detector, as i sweep the detector i get a lot of signals mostly iron range. It makes it hard to build trust in my machine. I do have a lot of "trash/iron" in my area that ive been detecting but i dont know if it is actually as much as the detector is signaling. So correct me if im wrong but if i turn on my simplex ultra and the mineralization bar is empty after a few sweeps of the coil, I should be able to just ground balance and then start detecting without getting false signals?
And the Simplex + it was Very Very Hard to get a better idea of the trash Targets and the Good Targets and you still have to dig up everything and it's going to be that way for All of the Simplex Lineup and I have went to Minelab Detector's and the problem with the trash Targets are almost nil and I can tell when they are there...... and I couldn't tell when I was using the Simplex.....

How do you know if you have "hot ground"? Is that what the Mineralization Bar is for?

I kept forgetting also. If they do an update the setting should be saved.
I agree. This needs to be changed in a future update.
Don’t forget there’s often rebar in concrete
Thanks
No problem
For these trashy areas, there is the sx24 coil.
YES!!
No está calibrado
Is the shaft on the ultra made of carbon fiber?
Lower and middle shafts are CF. Handle I believe is not CF. The new shafts are much lighter than the older shafts.
What brand shovel is that you are using?
Predator Phoenix model 24 at predatortools.com
Muito lixo e o aparelho enlouquece 😅
Trash is everywhere...all detectors go crazy in trash.
