When I did load development for the 6.5 CM version I ran into vertical stringing as well. My theory was the powder was too slow and I wasn't getting a full burn. I switched to faster powders and eventually got 5 shots in a 3/4" group at 75 yards. I was using TAC.
I have this also with the same scope and a Howa Mini-action I mounted in a Boyd's At-One Thumbhole stock and an AR with a 20" barrel. Really love the Grendel. This is a 5/8x24 Thread on mine. It works with my can without an adapter. Really accurate overall and the trigger on mine is about 2 lbs. I loaded rounds with BLC2 which did very well from the short barrel.
@@MrTacklebury awesome. I cannot wait til November to try to get a deer with it. This is the only fun ima carry this season I think and don’t get me started on the howa mini action. That thing is a lazer. I bought the 6.5 Grendel for my kids for bullet size and recoil or lack of I guess and I have found myself in a position now that it is one of my very favorite rounds. It so fun to shoot
Yea my howa shoots bugholes for me. I think the pistol is capable but will take a little more tinkering, but im gonna say good enough for now as both bullets I’m using are either discontinued or impossible to find. If I ever switch to a different more readily available bullet, I’m going to chase the tiny group down. I did have a fella on our Facebook page comment he has a 6.5 creedmore pistol just like this one and it was shooting a cloverleaf on target so I believe it’s fully capable of howa accuracy. They do have bergara barrels so the accuracy will be there. The group I got could have been shooter as well. Thanks for watching
Enjoy the video I hope they come out with a full-length rifle in the scout the little 6.5 Grendel rifle in the howa is good rifle. Would love a single shot rifle in 6.5
Check out sharps brothers pistol grips for it. I have one in 6.5 creedmore and my son shot his first deer with it last weekend. Gonna pick up one in Grendel too. Wondering what is different between v2 and the v3?
@@kevinkiser9553 I will check em out for sure. I’m not sure the difference won’t he two but I know I sure love this Grendel. It’s so heavy it has basically no recoil. I tried to take a deer with it this season but never saw a shooter buck on my days off to get it done unfortunately. Gonna potentially let my kids try it on a doe later this month in a youth only rifle weekend. Thanks for watching!
I hope they come out with the 6.5 Grendel and a full-length rifle
Yes agreed. That would be great!!

I also have the Howa mini action rifles also
They are tack drivers
I wish the pistol shot as good as the Howa
Great video

5/8x24 thread pattern. Otherwise it wouldn’t work with any barrel attachments
@@charltonlwalker awesome to know. It doesn’t kick much but I have a break at home I may try out on it to make it even less
