He was involved in the fighting of WWII, and was one of the soldiers to survive. Eventually though, he would be diagnosed with lung cancer, and we later found out it was terminal. Doctors said he had a few days, up to a week at best. We started making plans for his funeral, which would be where he grew up, on Rockaway Beach on Long Island, NY. Around 3 days later, we found out his time was coming. I was still sleeping that day as it happened early in the morning. Therefore I couldn’t come to say goodbye, so my aunt came instead. My grandpa was a big fan of baseball, so my aunt put on a baseball game that had his favorite team, the NY Yankees playing. It was the perfect final thing for him to watch. Then… on July 15th, 2022. 6:32 AM, Pacific time, his heart stopped beating.

Even though everyone is talking about techno, and her majesty, the queen of england, my grandpa also died recently too, and he was also a nice legend when it comes to the military. He was involved in the fighting of WWII, and was one of the soldiers to survive. Eventually though, he would be diagnosed with lung cancer, and we later found out it was terminal. Doctors said he had a few days, up to a week at best. We started making plans for his funeral, which would be where he grew up, on Rockaway Beach on Long Island, NY. Around 3 days later, we found out his time was coming. I was still sleeping that day as it happened early in the morning. Therefore I couldn’t come to say goodbye, so my aunt came instead. My grandpa was a big fan of baseball, so my aunt put on a baseball game that had his favorite team, the NY Yankees playing. It was the perfect final thing for him to watch. Then… on July 15th, 2022. 6:32 AM, Pacific time, his heart stopped beating.
May your Grandpa also live in peace, wherever he may be now.
