In case anyone was wondering, burning to death in a fire is way better than drowning because the smoke from the fire will knock you unconscious very quickly. It really depends on what's being burned but if we assume it's a house fire you'll be unconscious in 30 seconds. Drowning is way worse because you can still be conscious for a long time underwater so it will take several minutes of struggling in (probably) freezing cold water for you to actually fall unconscious. You'd suffer from hypothermia first and unconsciousness would be slow and agonizing. If you were fully conscious in both then yes the fire death is probably worse, but the fact that you'll probably end up knocked out way before you die makes it a much better way to die. Edit: the worst way to die I would assume is almost definitely starvation if we don't count like diseases and stuff which can take decades to give you a slow and incredibly depressing death
I wouldn’t want to be eaten. Also I’ve heard that when burning the nerves will shut down after enough heat and you become a kind of fire zombie. This is a scary topic
@@RichardCox0 being eaten also seems really horrid but again most animals will go for the neck or cranium and will kill you quickly there's very few animals that will eat parts of you while you're alive and even if they do you'll go into shock first and probably won't know what's happening. The burning thing also seems scary but that's less fire and more being put in an oven kind of hot which idk that might be the case but I feel like again you'd lose consciousness fairly quickly from heatstroke
@@Defnotdiablo Hate to break it to you but almost everything that gets eaten is eaten alive. There's really no benefit to killing your prey first, you want to eat it as quickly as possible and get out of there. It reallyyyyyy depends on how it happens, there are cases were that happens but more often then not, especially if someone survives the pain is not only horrific, but its also hard to medically stop apparently some true crime stuff has taught me i think id prefer to just not have either downing or fire, drowning is... terrifying conceptually, but you do pass out 100% of the time, while the fire is more RNG @@RichardCox0
I nearly drowned before as a child walking off a sudden drop off, and for me it personally was almost peaceful. Might have been because I breathed in a lot of water right away, but I just remember staring up at the surface and seeing the light glittering on the water, I didn't even really feel almost any discomfort, just a fuzziness as I went unconscious. It was only after I was pulled out and woke up again that everything was agony, my lungs were on fire... if hadn't been rescued, I don't think I would even have realized I was about to die.
Love how that last round is.. THAT round.. and.. Duncan having troubles with ladders, of course hahaha He seems better with ladders lately though I don't recall him dying from ladder mechanics in a while
He had his ladder vindication moment years ago on a train. After watching someone (I think it was Tom or Ben) phase through a ladder at the very back of the train, he realized that you can just press 'E' on them. He ... kinda flipped out for a minute, lol. He's seldom died to ladders since. He even made a map with two very tall ladders in it years later! (The Donconnon Temple map)
@irregularassassin6380 I believe it was Ben because IIRC the next thing said was, "You can just press E on them(?/!)*" * The double punctuation is included because the line is said by both Duncan as a question and Ben as an exlamation.
Ravs' dunconnon in "The betrayal" was amazingly timed.. no matter who won, he only had to wait a second or two for someone to die, then shoot.. heck he could have shot while they were both still alive, but waiting a bit made sure whoever survived was on low HP... (edit) oh and I guess there were 2 traitors too so he sorta had to wait Second edit: ok.. just a quick one.. if Ravs had fired the donconnon BEFORE activating the clown.. but like.. it activates mid-flight.. would it have done damage..?
You mean because of Rythian not thinking it was legit? Because yeah, Rythian is ridiculous in that clip, as if he wasn't incredibly suspicious standing still for 5 seconds in front of a nodding Zylus.
@@Fibah There's just as much evidence that Rythian could've been an innocent confused by Zylus, who could've been a jester/swapper pretending to be a beggar, or Zylus could've been a glitch nodding at a random innocent trying to make a play. It just happened to be the only scenario where it works out well for Duncan.
The thing is he was right in terms of both rationale and results. When you're standing in front of a nodding person for several seconds, it's pretty fucking obvious what's gong on.
@@Phoenix_NH No, theres not "as much evidence", Rythian didn't act confused that Zylus was nodding at him, he was standing still staring at him, presumably in a buy menu to give him something. If he was innocent, he wouldn't be completely silent pretending not to notice him nodding at him and not saying anything. And then he acts EXTREMELY suspicious after the fact, with really bad lying. Like come the fuck on. If he had been an innocent, he would tell him he can't give him anything or try to bring him over to the detective. Everyone knows what the nodding thing means, you thinking as if Rythian is in the right is completely ignoring the fact that everyone recognizes what the nodding thing means and that standing still in front of one nodding like that as a non-detective means you're probably bad.
The "Nodding" round is one of the main reasons i dispise Rythian as a player. Not only is he a sore loser but he ghost's like its going out of style, and has zero regrets about it. It is very common for traitors/jesters/beggars to "nod" at others they think are not innocents. Duncan had every right to be sus' of that happening, and Rythian NOT questioning it. If Rythian had said like "why are you nodding at me" or "i don't have anything" or w/e it would have been less sus' but the fact he watched him Nod for a good 10 seconds and did not say anything is VERY sus'. Rythian got caught out and just complained about it, even after he was dead. Its super infuriating every time i see that clip.
it was rdm. i dont doubt that rythian would have reacted the same way to being nodded at were he innocent. regardless of one's role, killing someone for a guess on someone else's part is unreasonable and duncan should not have been rewarded for it.
Duncan didn't kill him for nodding. He kill him for charging at him afterwards. If Rythian was innocent he would have left Duncan alone or shot at him from a distance. Innocents don't get as close as possible to someone who just shot him.
@@bistrochefwithepilepsy It's not "rdm" when you have a very valid suspicion. You think Rythian would have reacted the same as an innocent also? Lol. He would stand still and not say anything and then act really suspicious afterwards and lie badly when called on it? *rolls eyes*
9:27 Boba's sheer joy at having Goomba stomped Pedquin was glorious and delightful
Anything with Boba is delightful
Would've been funnier without Rythian being frustrated about being caught red handed looking for an item to give a beggar.
Rythian getting so angry he's calling Daltos by his actual name at 20:32 is great
