I been using audacity for years I mean over 10 years I’m trying to transition to fl. It’s hard when you’ve become adept at using a program and know how to do a lot with it but I know fl will do me better

I basically did all my recording and comping on audacity then transferred the stems to fl and started really cleaning it up and layering effects and it sounds soooo much better
I've been using fl since I was 15 years old. I'm 27 now and fl studio can do ANYTHING you can imagine. Audacity is obsolete. Fl studio has audacity built in as Edison and SO MUCHH MOREEEEE
@@senseiii3986 oh I have been loving it, I still use audacity for initial recordings and for a very and I mean very light clean up but everything else is done in fl studios until I hit my finished product
Great video. Can you give pre &boost examples of how each effects work? It would extend the video to the 10 min mark too so that you can monetize your videos for mid rolls.
ProductionDen when i use my pencil tool to trim audio, it instead "shortens" the audio and makes it faster. so it keeps all of the audio but decreases the time its played so its higher pitched and faster. i dont know how to fix this
Make sure the stretch audio when resizing option is turned off. It's at the top of the playlist window, under the audio clips focus. I think the shortcut to turn it off and on is SHIFT + M Let me know if that works
bro i have a doubt......in fl studio for me when i drag a sample and then i want it to minimize.....minimize means fromleft or right hold and drag into middle so we can trim...but for me when i hold and drag the whole sample is changing....by changing its tempo time.....i dont know why....can u helpp me..??
At the top of the playlist window on the left side, you should see two options - one that says 2-cross with a circle next to it, and one that says stretch with a circle next to it. Make sure that stretch is unchecked. Then you should be able to move the edges without the sample stretching.

Dive into fl studio and you will never he disappointed. Literally anything you can imagine can be done on this DAW

Tip: For autotune, add your vocals to newtone, centre (center for americans) on full, adjust variation and trans. then you got autotune
