First off that is the best holster I’ve seen you do yet.looks just like worn leather. Second I like that when you make mistakes you admit and correct them on camera. The “professional “painters seem like they always get it perfect and speaking for myself it is a little discouraging. The color scheme is great. Loved the video.another great one that held my interest. Thumbs up my man!
Welp. Gonna steal your worn leather paint choices. Couldn't be helped. I think genestealer purple was a good choice, the highlights made everything stand out. Another good one!
Great video man! I love how you cover some of the more obscure successor chapters that deserve more love! I may be a little biased since I'm a Dark Angels player but I'd love to see some of the cool but lesser seen DA successors like the guardians of the covenant!
I made it myself by modifying an existing pauldron I got from Cults3D. Unfortunately the licensing of the original file prevents me sharing the modified one.

I really like the leather in this one too! Yeah, for tutorials they don't show how to recover very often.

Thanks, and I'll add the Guardians of the Covenant to the list!
Where did you get the shoulder with 3d Silver Guard icon?

I hate to be that guy, but it's the wrong shade of purple. The one in the picture is more of a red-purple, whereas you've chosen a blue-purple.
Yeah I mention that in the video, the Citadel paint range doesn't have one that matches.
