War and Order - Is the Egg Frenzy event worth spending on?

I feel like this event is not worth it all you spend more gems than you will ever get back and the rewards are not even that good I rather spend on the scroll exchange events like archangel or last one we just had but the scroll shop is nice as you can pick what rewards you want to spend on

I priced some of those out and they didnt seem worth it either. From what I've seen, the events where you upgrade the prize pool are the best bang for buck. you just cant pick what you want.
